I know where to put that $2500

Dang! Foiled by the fine print. Making it worse, I can’t even get some liquor to take the edge off my disappointment!

I know where to put that $2500

$2,000 in gift cards and $500 in whatever I can that’s in stock is my plan. Or, maybe the tent…….

Barkeepers Friend Liquid & Windex Combo Issue - Now What?

Windex typically contains ammonia, which degrades the surface passivation layer of stainless steel. I advise against using anything containing ammonia on stainless steel. I suggest you go over the truck again with BKF and wash it off thoroughly with water.

PowerShare Mobile Connector (Gen 3) -- Discussion

This is exactly my setup as I wait for the PowerShare and wall charger equipment to be installed in my garage. I rigged a cover plate that I flip over the dryer when the mobile charger is plugged into the truck, preventing anyone from running the dryer when the truck is being charged.

Use Sprayway Glass Cleaner for cleaning fingerprints off Cybertruck stainless steel

It's not craziness, it's science - the chemistry and metallurgy branches of science. Ammonia is a base compound that degrades the passivation layer on the surface of stainless steel. It's this few molecules thick iron-poor surface layer that protects the underlying iron in the stainless...

PowerShare Mobile Connector (Gen 3) -- Discussion

I ordered the NEMA 10-30 30 amp adapter from Tesla for my Gen 3 mobile connector (the one came with the truck) so I could use my 240vac dryer outlet. Even though the Tesla Shop lists the adapters as “for the Gen 2 connector” everything is working fine with my setup, charging the truck at 24...

That's the first example of a wrap that makes me think, ".....Dang!.... That looks so good I might have to consider it for mine....."

    License plate bolt size?

Here.... For those of you, like me, who didn't get any license plate screws with their truck but the two they used to attach my temporary tag. https://a.co/d/9Fcj7Yy

    Battery Drain ?’s

My truck is my first Tesla. Watching this forum I've learned that I'm a total newbie about the finer points of operating and dealing with Tesla's vehicles. So, consider the source regarding this advice... I was seeing the same "vampire" drain as many on this thread and I had never had any...

How exactly does cash payment work?

If you paid off a 6%, 20% down loan on an AWD 30 days after the loan origination date it will cost over $400 in interest. I have done that in the past, but I paid off the loan the day after I bought the car.

How exactly does cash payment work?

You can wire funds from your bank or your financial institution - where you have your money. Years ago I wired money to buy a car from my bank; for my truck I used my financial institution. Tesla provides the information that your bank or institution requires to perform the transfer. It's...

New cybertruck wheel spotted at Fremont Factory

I'm not sure whether you're talking about the wheel/tire in OP's photo or about mine, but either way it's the tire that makes the mess. The inside of the AT tire doesn't have most of the pattern that designed for the original aero covers, as you can see in this photo. The AT tires aren't...

I wouldn't use those. I'd rather just leave on these low-cost hub covers, instead. Here's a photo:

Cybertruck in Deflate All suspension mode (Photos) 🤩 + PWF Matt Space Mugello Wrap

Yes. But, I’d rather have Tesla implement a Squat Mode that drops the back end to entry height and the front to extract height. That would put the lip of the lowered tailgate closer to the ground and allow the use of a shorter ramp. Now that I can, I’ll take some measurements to see how that...

Cybertruck in Deflate All suspension mode (Photos) 🤩 + PWF Matt Space Mugello Wrap

Beautiful, but…. Yikes!! When the suspension is totally deflated the truck is sitting its bump stops, I believe. If the vehicle can be driven in that mode (hopefully not) tiny Irregularities in the road would cause immediate, sharp jolts to the chassis and large ones, potholes for example...

NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH: CYBERTRUCKco Light-duty crossbars available now

GFleck is on-track with that approach. Branding that is subtle, not visible at a distance would not distract or annoy most people, I think. At the same time, it would show the brand to someone looking carefully at the construction and design, helping the build the brand.

I got my "Your Limited-Edition Foundation Series Cybertruck is Ready to Order, and Ordered It...

As I understand it, the credit is based on the price of the vehicle, not including options. The FS has no separately priced options, but the future non-FS will, and one option will be FSD. I think the above is correct; if not, please chime in, more experienced Tesla owners!
