    Trailer towing, WOW!

It is from my experience in Orange and San Bernardino county, in the past year the super chargers declared a 'congestion' fee in addition to limiting the charge to 80% 'as set by the charging station'. PS: there is LOTS, LOTS and LOTS of Tesla's in Orange County CA, you see about 3 in 10 cars...

    Trailer towing, WOW!

I would like to see Supercharge station limits lifted to 100% when your CT is in towing mode. I am in So Cal, where there are numerous supercharge stations - all which limit charging to 80%. That range loss should be enough reason to increase the limit for towing. The monstrous instant torque...

PCS Failure / 3-Month+ Wait—Anyone else pushing for a buyback? Lemon Law? Legal Action?

PCS Warranty: Also, the Tesla general warranty is not very clear that a replaced PCS has its 'own' warranty. Unlike a battery replacement which has a 10 year warranty. From my reading, a replaced PCS warranty is under the vehicle warranty - and does 'not' extend the PCS warranty to 3,5 or any...

PCS Failure / 3-Month+ Wait—Anyone else pushing for a buyback? Lemon Law? Legal Action?

IMO: Getting an Lemon Attorney involved will not really help in 'solving' or expediting the repair. Here in California - with a strong clear lemon law. Attorneys will start THAT process = Buyback, as that is the ONLY way they get paid. They don't get paid [other than by you] if they push...

My PCS Failure Estimated Fix is July 13

My advice, is keep the loaner. Offer to Tesla that this is the 'best' scenario as 2 month repair would/does trigger lemon law in most states. NICELY state 'you are protecting them' and yourself from protracted process triggered by your vehicle being non-operational for weeks. I am in...

PCS Failure - Can’t charge at all

Yeah, the PSC replacement procedure is quite involved and includes various disciplines. I love the 'Check the high voltage gloves' step. Jack

PCS failure- canceled appt - return loaner - no ETA - worst ever

100% Agree, Tesla has the resources to provide some practical or monetary compensation to affected owners. Being a new vehicle type, this design flaw has a large impact on perception. Further, as an owner I am concerned about the perceived value and how it is compromised by Tesla's utter lack...

PCS failure- canceled appt - return loaner - no ETA - worst ever

Totally unacceptable, if Tesla does not know when they will get replacement PSC...then NOBODY knows. I had mine replaced 1 month ago...now concerned if it fails again...but in 2 yrs from now where they might not any PSC in the pipeline. Tesla has to step up their customer support and...

Head-on collision vs. idiot driver -- Cybertruck accident aftermath (pic + video)

God Bless that the both drivers and all others 'collateral' to this mishap are safe. How fragile our days are...as your fate lies in your own hands...and the hands of others... Live and drive with intention

PCS Failure - Can’t charge at all

My PCS failure prevented any charging, AC home or DC supercharging. Inspite of the dash message reporting DC charging is functional. Worse on the Supercharger, it did not post an error - watching like a hawk, it would 'start' charging , then switch to 'idle' as if you had not started charging...

    Huge disappointment

Not for new vehicles, I've had to leave cars for days while on travel. I've not been charged a storage fee. The fact the vehicle broke down is an 'inconvenience' to the owner...so the inconvenience to the Tesla to hang on to if for a few days is fair exchange. ..It is quite bizarre the broad...

    PCS parts shortage

This is odd, 14K miles - you get the PCS, I just got mine about 3 weeks ago with 30K miles. To me this looks to be more about the latest software detecting the failure - over 'by mileage'. Hard to say, as most 2 yr CTs -by now should have about 30k miles. Most on the forums with PCS are at...

    PCS parts shortage

It could be the software update is checking the PCS health more intensely and the cause for these PCS error notifications. This would make sense - in that Tesla upon seeing the failures has modeled the system to detect the error just at the onset of the 24amp AC charge failure of the PCS.

    PCS parts shortage

OMG brother, the PCS apocalypse is upon us. Really disappointing that Tesla did not plan accordingly and order PCS's preemptively for the CT in the field. They have nearly real-time connection to our CT's know the mileage and by now - the occurrence rate of PCS failure...which looks to be 100%?.

    PCS parts shortage

I was told the same with my PSC failure - they said 3-5 days to *possibly* get the PSC - then they had it in about 1 day and I had my CT back in 4 days. This the general problem with speaking words - than thoughts. They should keep to accurate -information - not gossip.

PCS Failure - Can’t charge at all

On your loaner: Also check if they limit the top speed, and on one CT loaner, they locked the height at 'Middle' and I was constantly misjudging my exit as the ground was about 1" further than my recollection.. Jack

    FSD…..A VERY DANGEROUS SETTING

For me, it Your experience and response to the UI of FSD is a good example of how these systems have to interface to everyone in the potential audience. As cars are made for 'everyone' to drive - including those who are 'not into cars' and 'don't enjoy driving' so there will be a ocean-wide...

    FSD…..A VERY DANGEROUS SETTING

Completely true. I worked in space vision systems and Fly eye optic vision systems. We as humans have more senses than simply vision to navigate the world. We have a very strong sense of 'continutity'...as you can walk in the dark in familiar places. It is a very interesting field which Mother...

    FSD…..A VERY DANGEROUS SETTING

This is one of the limitations of camera based imaging. Standard camera frame rates are 30 -60Hz, which directly equates to the distance of travel between frames - would be a fundamental limitation. Would you trust yourself controlling a moving vehicle if you could only get an image every 20ft...
