As far as I know it was the latter - they dropped the new system into the gateway and voila. I should note that my PowerShare doesn’t show that I have solar, unlike some others that seem to see their systems in the app.

Further to this, if you read the post that is in the original X link on this thread, it seems somewhat ambiguous, and there is a reference to being able to charge the cybertruck if you have solar during an outage without any mention of a power wall.

Isn’t that just for the test? I never received that email when mine went live (or missed it) and have never touched my inverter breakers. I’m still unclear based on the latest post.

I don't have mine, but tried to add it to my last service order and I was politely told you'll get it when we get yours delivered.

Make sure to put steer by wire through its paces - hit some parking garages and/or areas where you can really get a feel for what it's like to maneuver in relatively tight quarters (not just normal neighborhood/freeway driving).
