I keep hearing the size of the CT is too big. Have you compared it to, say, an F-150 of similar people capacity? My CT is smaller in every dimention except Bed size than my previous F-150 (and all of my F-250/350/450s). It IS larger than the Maverick we traded in. We loved the Maverick and...
Little tidbit. There are a LOT of cars on the road. As more and more become electric and more become Cybertaxis, the cost to purchase other vehicles will rise significantly.
- Picture Ford selling 30% fewer vehicles in a short timeframe, say 10 years.
They'll begin losing economy of scale...
I have a FSCB and I know the dash is different from the AWD versions and maybe the newer versions. Maybe the A pillars are different too. It's all soft to the touch. The ONLY thing that I interact with that feels cheap is the lumbar support button. It's a 4-way switch and seems to operate...
I remember them taking a couple of the trucks to somewhere cold and doing winter testing. I don't know why the cant rail problem wasn't caught then. I have never felt that my Beast had cheap plastic anywhere. It feels nice and all the touch surfaces meet my expectations. Maybe I just have...
As an example, an upcoming left turn lane but traffic begins stacking up almost 2 miles away and there's a solid white line for the last 1/8th mile.
You shouldn't wait until right before the turn, stop in the fast lane with your left turn blinker on and hope someone already in the mile-long...
I have. It'll navigate to the back slowly and then pick an empty spot somewhere. But, I want it to park at the very end if possible. It's common to park over the line into the strips a little at the end. It gives the person next to you more room and the person next to that person. I do it...
I'm happy with mine. Every once in a while, it selects wrong. One place, it's always wrong. Two lanes turn right (my direction) after the light. Immediately after the exit, I have to merge over twice in a couple hundred yards to stay on the highway (all other lanes exit right). So, the...
I'd prefer it to cheat away from traffic a little given 2 lanes of traffic. Basically, cheat away in outside lanes and center up if in a middle lane.
One thing I noticed that changed is it reset my preferred way to end the drive (Parking lot, streetside, etc.). I didn't catch it until I was...
Now, this one is definitely wrong but I don't see it anywhere else in this thread. The long side of the triangle should be against the windshield. This is bad.
Replying to my own post because... reason.
Question: Of the 6,197 FSCB sold, how many are still owned by the original owner?
Answer: Fewer than 6,197 though I have no way of knowing how few.
Question: Of those people, how many would actually use free Supercharging on a regular basis...
I did not receive Free Supercharging. Nor do I expect it.
Picked up my FSCB, aka Fluffy, on Aug 17th, 2024 about 33,000 miles ago. (74% or so FSD since the release where it keeps track. Not a lot before that).
I agree. When I got my CT, I was all about the fun driving it. It's still fun letting FSD do the commute slog. 75% FSD for me. Which is a LOT more than I thought I'd ever let it do. I'm so thankful it's as good as it is. So much so that I find myself no longer yearning for that next...
TLDR: Dude, fewer words. Okay, fine. Roll back, relax, roll forward. Tesla should rename the "Speed Profiles" "Agression Profiles"
Speed profiles are not really speed profiles. They are aggression profiles.
Hear me out. It's how your CT behaves. You select: It acts.
Standard: Yeah...
Interesting read. Thank you. I wasn't trying to insinuate that solar was replacing their coal production but just meant it is increasingly taking on some of the burden.
Apparently, as more people reach middle class, more people can afford air conditioning...
China building power production
Interesting tidbit: Though China started almost twice as many coal plants in 2025 as 2024, solar energy increased its share of power generation by 1%. Not a lot but it's...
That's fair and I wouldn't want friends who only like my things either. I'm talking the subtle things. It already happens from just driving a Tesla or any other car that says "I have some money". I'm fortunate but sometimes want to shop for a bargain. It's hard to get a deal on a table saw...
Because my interactions with people are, in part, shaped by how they feel about me.
If a person's first impression of me is what they see and they come to the conclusion that I must make good decisions in my life as evident in part by how I dress, act, and that I drive an iconic legend, they...
Now that you mention it, I remember cutting the holes in the fender and mounting those antennae. You must be right about them being glass mounted.
I'd get to drive the Mustangs from the radio shop up the hill to some other shop. Always liked driving them. New smell, party lights, pretty...
