I've heard from a Tesla employee that a car for sale with a 0-60 in under 3 seconds makes the insurance rate way higher. In a way to work around this I believe Tesla will update the listing to 3 seconds for the tri motor CT. I have a CT Tri-motor reservation and I hope they do this. I'd rather...

I agree. Price doesn't justify it for me. To me this is a high tech luxurious option. Hopefully as more third party companies make products and scale, there will be cheaper options.

It's basically a kickstarter with no guarantee that it'll make it to production. But still interesting to see.

Those are good points. Aside from the visual looks, the CT utility is unlike any other. I assume most people with work trucks care about most that over looks. Definitely seems to look like its from the future though. So who knows, maybe all transportation will look like this one day!
