  1. Ford rescues CyberTruck in the snow

Urgh, what’s most annoying about this clip is not the fact that it got stuck, it’s that all the CT haters are going to use this clip ad nauseam as a basis for an argument against its existence. They are already chomping at the bit to throw it under the bus (and they haven’t had much apart from...
  2. Cybertruck vs F-150 Raptor R: DRAG RACE

Carwow have done plenty of non-drag races which have garnered millions of views (even with off-roading head to heads which is not so popular here in the UK (island is crowded so it's very expensive)). Their standard review videos can be quite good too, but sometimes can be a bit cringey. I...
  3. OFFICIAL 2024 Cybertruck Pricing, Specs, Mileage/Range, Dimensions, Weight, Info

They always start out expensive. Just making it was part of the mission statement to displace ICE vehicles. If they get the prices down eventually (which they have done with ALL their models), it will align even more with the statement. It’s a long game.
  4. OFFICIAL 2024 Cybertruck Pricing, Specs, Mileage/Range, Dimensions, Weight, Info

It’s like NOTHING has happened between now and 2019 with some of you... Think about who they’re competing with. Then look at their price sheets. Then look at their specs. As always, you have to weigh up the whole package with Tesla but some of you have conveniently forgotten that, as if this...
  5. Cybertruck off-roading in Baja (live streamed by Tesla)!

Yeah exactly. They must have lots of gear and tools in there. Plus the racks, Starlink, all the cables etc. I’m sure like all Tesla’s the sound system is going to be awesome too!
  6. DRL, headlights, fog lights, sidemarkers, tail light bar ON in night time video (on Tundra Cybertruck leaving supercharger)

This was obvious since the beginning (and I’ve said so on many occasion). Diffused light is.. well, diffused light. By its very definition, it projects in a diffused manner and therefore cannot be used a main beam. Hence, the light bar was *never* going to be the main beam *unless* they had a...
  7. Best look yet at Cybertruck rear light bar / brake light / turn signal in action (night video 8/15/23)

I dunno.. I think they could do better. The CT at Cyber Rodeo had it best. The light bar had distinct marking and the bar itself didn’t turn off when the brake is initiated. And what’s up with the turn signals doubling as the brake light? I know this is the norm in America but surely separate...
  8. Cybertruck suspension & underbody closeup pics (from broken down prototype spotted roadside)

I grew up in NZ. The ruggeds that Wiz of Oz is talking about is no more rugged than what you’d find in the US. So I’d say most of the off road testing has been done in the US. They’ve only got them in NZ winter time now because the timing of winter there and CT release happened to coincide.
  9. New wheels / aero wheel covers spotted on Cybertruck -- 7/31/23

I'm not complaining about a new video sighting... but This is clearly wide angle camera filmed in portrait, but couldn't they have filmed in regular angle and flipped it into landscape? The perspective is horrible and make the truck angles look weird af!
  10. New Body-in-White pic shows front wheel well, front quarter window + more

Exactly! So many people forget this. After the initial announcement of the CT, I walked the streets of London to take as many pictures of big-ass sprinter vans and other large vehicles driving and parked in the residential streets - just to prove the misconception false. It soon became boring...
  11. Sandy Munro Analyzes Cybertruck Wrapped as F-150 With Frunk Open: "What We Know & Our Final Predictions"

Critisism is how one arrives at a more truthful conclusion. And induction is logically flawed for the reason you mention above. Just a bit of philosophy thrown in while we're at it, I'm a Critical Rationalist so I can't help but chime in my 2 cents! Now back to the CT! Tesla always makes the...
  12. New dark digital camo + tinted Cybertruck appears on the 280 in CA! 🤳

It's clear that Tesla are using the "camo on prototype" for three reasons. 1) there's no angles to hide that we don't know about already (and lo and behold, that's the joke). 2) they must've said to themselves, if we need to test our wrapping/give people ideas about wrapping as we near...
  13. Videos: Camo Cybertruck BLASTS BY at speed! All lights on! 🚨 [7/17/23]

You seriously believe that they’re going to turn the “extreme ends” of the diffused light bar as headlights by just turning them up brighter than the rest of the light bar? (Like you posted of the prototype)? If you think Tesla are going to do that - as opposed to implementing actual matrix...
  14. Videos: Camo Cybertruck BLASTS BY at speed! All lights on! 🚨 [7/17/23]

The picture in your post is the prototype vehicle. And on that vehicle, yes the under grill lights are indeed the fog lights. They've clearly changed the configuration around a bit, because on the production (beta?) from the OP video, the under grill lights ARE the headlights. And I've said...
  15. Cybertruck BIW body-in-white frames with front/rear castings 🤩 [7/11/23]

One of the best takes I've read on here. Perfect summation of Tesla, Elon and the Cybertruck ethos!
  16. New videos of Cybertruck on public roads, including brake light bar in action

Personal preference or utility aside, I just think it would be a damn shame if they under"utilise" the rear light bar. An always on rear light bar, amber indicators - hell, even some dynamic turn signals! - would just round out the look of the car and balance it out with the front. Elon has...
  17. When will UK launch be?

Yeah they do have a strong foothold here... for the type of car that sells well in this market. Look, don't get me wrong, I've fantasised about cruising around the streets of London and taking the beast to parts of the UK where I can test it's limits (which, in all fairness, is not many places...
