Dude, this thing looks badass. I love the wrap! The light bar on the front and rear look fully functional on this one. I really can’t wait to see this thing on the streets.![]()
I was going to say it looks like all the lights are functioning on this one, but I don’t see the rear side marker lights lit, at least in this still grab from the video.

Maybe the wrap or the fact that it was accelerating so quickly? Cybertruck equals Hummer EV in some people’s minds? I have no idea.“Oh they're definitely rich” is that the impression CT gives?
I seriously doubt that new employees are getting time in the CyberTruck out in public, so these are probably long time Tesla employees with with a fair share of stock options. "Definitely rich" is a reasonable hunch.“Oh they're definitely rich” is that the impression CT gives?
Do you have any pictures of the lower lights functioning as headlights at night? The picture in your post is the prototype vehicle. And on that vehicle, yes the under grill lights are indeed the fog lights. They've clearly changed the configuration around a bit, because on the production (beta?) from the OP video, the under grill lights ARE the headlights.
And I've said this before, that in it's current configuration, I'm dubious how effective the actual headlights will be due to various reasons I've stated in a prior comment.
They will never make a diffused LED (which is what the front light bar is) the actual headlights, like you're showing on the prototype - no matter how bright they go - because the light beams have no direction due to their diffused nature.
You seriously believe that they’re going to turn the “extreme ends” of the diffused light bar as headlights by just turning them up brighter than the rest of the light bar? (Like you posted of the prototype)?Do you have any pictures of the lower lights functioning as headlights at night?
No, no you don't.
The lower lights are not the headlights. That is all.You seriously believe that they’re going to turn the “extreme ends” of the diffused light bar as headlights by just turning them up brighter than the rest of the light bar? (Like you posted of the prototype)?
If you think Tesla are going to do that - as opposed to implementing actual matrix lights (the most basic of technological features) which seems to be what they’ve done - then I’m afraid you’re seriously mistaken.
sure!“Oh they're definitely rich” is that the impression CT gives?
Sure, if you say so…The lower lights are not the headlights. That is all.
maybe they’re front side tail lightsMaybe they're invisible tail lights
