  1. Wiring genius: 48v power + data CAN bus

Can I get a reference for how this works? I had to wire seperate gigabit cable to everything in my house - one for tv, one for every camera, repeater, computer needing wired connection.. I have at least 8 wires going, some are plugged through a switch because the router can only take 4 cables...
  2. INVESTOR DAY CYBERTRUCK BETA PRESENT! [w/ Walkaround Videos]

I think we'll see price pretty much sticking to the original quote. I took a look Iat the price history for Model Y. And I so that current price is pretty much what it started with in 2019! There's no reason the Cybertruck shouldn't adhere to the same price graph basically:
  3. Canada rolls out Med/Heavy duty ZEV rebates, Will Cybertruck qualify to 2B class?

Hmm, possibly.. for the rwd base model only I guess which will come to the market last I guess.
  4. Canada rolls out Med/Heavy duty ZEV rebates, Will Cybertruck qualify to 2B class?

Hasnt that ship sailed already? with no Tesla cars remaining eligible now after the last series or price hikes? I think its a safe bet, the CT won't be cheaper than a base M3.
  5. Canada rolls out Med/Heavy duty ZEV rebates, Will Cybertruck qualify to 2B class?

https://tc.canada.ca/en/road-transportation/innovative-technologies/zero-emission-vehicles/medium-heavy-duty-zero-emission-vehicles/incentives-medium-heavy-duty-zero-emission-vehicles It's going to be wildly popular if it suprasses the 8501 pounds criteria to qualify! Would have to purchase...
  6. The Cybertruck is at least another year away

Ahh, that makes sense now! Thanks for the explanation :)
  7. The Cybertruck is at least another year away

I am curious, how'd you have 6 to begin with? Normally people have two parents for each parent (hence up to 4 grandparents).
  8. Is it a mistake to change car now while waiting for the CT?

I understand, its sad that we cant always account for life to make rational and best decisions - when we bought the Kona in 2019, still had a larger family car, and it was only secondary car for my wife's work and studies needs as I was also commuting to work. And then she got pregnant after...
  9. Is it a mistake to change car now while waiting for the CT?

That does not sound a very rational or financially correct decision given current market pricing for used Teslas (at least to me...) - but enjoy the thrill!!
  10. Is it a mistake to change car now while waiting for the CT?

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/05/18/ev-battery-costs-set-to-spike-as-raw-material-shortages-drags-on.html If this analysis is correct, we have to assume further delays on Cybertruck - Tesla will continue focusing all available resources on M3 and MY.. On the other hand, this might not be relevant...
  11. Is it a mistake to change car now while waiting for the CT?

lol you think with our early reservation, it'll be around 2025?
  12. Is it a mistake to change car now while waiting for the CT?

I currently own the Kona (financed). if I switch to a lease, it would be a takeover, and if the CT isn’t ready yet when its done, i guess i will just take over another lease… but what happens if the gap is only a few months? i migh not fond a suitable lease takeover, or have gaps of time...
  13. Is it a mistake to change car now while waiting for the CT?

obviously not leasing new its not economic for 2 years. But a well priced lease take over? why is that a bad idea? you know about the supply chain, I’m thinking we will get surprised because everything is trending now towards decoupling economies - everyone is changing supply chains to not be...
  14. Is it a mistake to change car now while waiting for the CT?

yes about lease you are 100% correct but the difficulty is finding a lease takeover that is less than two years remaining, at leas mid sized suv and not much more monthly payment than the Kona. I don’t understand your next paragraph, in two years I should probably have more equit in the kona...
  15. Is it a mistake to change car now while waiting for the CT?

Insurance is high for me, yes :( due to 2 claims that just wont fall off yet unfortunately, and our province (NS) sucks for this stuff.. I think so, when you take over someone's lease, say it got 17 months left - you pay the monthly payments, and then return the car, or buy it out for the...
