The spartan interIor, the blanket on the dash, the lack of an instrument cluster, and no indicator/BAW control stalks are good signs that Elonâs trying to keep the price around $80K.
This way more people can afford it.
I feel sad already. My dad was Mopar all the way and he would advise you to keep your car and add a truck.
I sold my Viper before the pandemic and regret it to this day!
You have great restraint. I have averaged 2 cars per year since 1979. This does not include my wife and daughterâs vehicles. I know âcar addictionâ(max number of cars at one point: 7).
Currently, I have pared it down to just the:
New Tahoe LT 4X4, Tundra CrewMax 4X4, 4Runner Limited 4X4, and...
In Texas:
âIf your driver's side view mirror is in place, you are NOT in violation of the state of Texas Transportation Code. In the state of Texas all motorists are required to have at least one operable side view mirror where the driver can see behind them.â
It could be similar to the ramp up of Model 3 production a few years ago. However, they didnât have to bend stainless steel to build Model 3âs either.
I think everyone should follow Elonâs 3 rules of business:
âI look for three things in a business. First of all, it needs to be commercially viable. Secondly it has to be interesting and fun. And third, if it succeeds, it has to have some beneficial effect on the world.â

I think weâll have to see what the post-concept, final product looks like to form an opinion about the truck. It does look pretty aggressive.

I wonder if the Silverado would share Hummer components. I really like the t-top rear roof and the roof panels that fit in the frunk:

My pleasure. I would have to agree. Baring any unreasonable pricing, Chevy is my favorite substitute if no CT in the near future.
I did like the Taycan as far as cars are concerned. The range could be improved upon but itâs a magnificent machine.
