  1. Towing with Cybertruck report - EV towing an EV (~2500 lbs)

Lars (VP Vehicle Engineering at Tesla) says here that aero when towing makes much more difference for range than weight being towed. Link should start at 45:20.
  2. Cybertruck factory pick up in Austin?

Does anyone have confirmation as to whether or not we can pick up the CT at the factory (and forgo the almost $2k destination/delivery fee)? Thank you.
  3. Brake by wire confirmed?

The Brembo Sensify BBW system can operate in several ways. All digital at each wheel (no hydraulics) **if all wheels have sliding calipers** or a mix of localized mini hydraulic pumps at each wheel and digital, or all localized hydraulic. The Cybertruck has fixed front calipers and sliding rear...
  4. Crash Tested Cybertruck Parked at Arkansas Hampton Inn Overnight [Interior + Exterior Pics]

If it is hydraulic on the rear (CT has sliding rear calipers), and it is the Brembo Sensify system, then it is certainly on the front as well, since Brembo Sensify fixed calipers are only available as a localized hydraulic option (for now).
  5. Crash Tested Cybertruck Parked at Arkansas Hampton Inn Overnight [Interior + Exterior Pics]

Can someone please try to get some photos detailing the front and rear brakes, especially a view from behind the wheel? Looking for electrical connections vs hydraulic lines, or if Brembo Sensify, localized mini hydraulic pumps at the wheels. Much appreciated!

  7. Invited to Giga Texas Annual Shareholder Meeting! Got Questions or Requests?

Questions: 1 - Does CT use the Brembo Sensify digital braking system? If so, front fixed calipers, rear slide calipers? It appears that is the caliper setup in images and would imply electric rear brakes, localized/digital hydraulic up front). If not Brembo, is it (some other) hydraulic-free...
  8. Brembo brakes on Cybertruck?

The new Brembo Sensify brake-by-wire system can be all electric (hydraulic-free), but only if all 4 wheels use sliding calipers. Brembo is using one small local electric hydraulic pumps for each wheel for fixed calipers, located close to the wheel, vs. one centralized pump under the hood. They...
