I think Tesla got pretty close to this bed rack design.

I plan on keeping my XT5 along with the CT for now. If y’all only ever do really short trips or are ok with charging, probably will be ok with going all electric. Aren’t there supposed to be some hydrogen vehicles coming out too?
I’m ok with no factory color options if it’s not embedded into the metal. You most likely will be able to wrap/paint/heat treat via third party like you can with cars currently.
I plan on keeping it and driving it for as long as it’ll last if it is reliable and able to maintain its range with loads and colder temps. I’m planning on doing 300 mile weekend trips and possible daily driver if it can fit easily in parking garages.
I’m thinking it’s due to the 3%-5% reduction. Before the wheels may have been further out to eliminate the need for wheel wells. But now the narrowing is basically used in place of wheel wells…I’m guessing.
I would’ve preferred to have some tow mirrors instead of the triangle ones that can easily be taken off when not towing. I guess you can always buy aftermarket but towable mirrors would have been more functional for me.

Maybe the sides had to be straightened to help with the overall reduction (wasn’t it 5%?) that they ended up making in the design. The angle is subtle in the prototype. I would’ve preferred the tailgate light bar to go full but can see how having taillights cutout would eliminate the need for a...
I’m still hoping Tesla has an ace up their sleeve on the wiper…but if not hopefully a cool aftermarket option turns up. Either way CT will still be an awesome starship on wheels.
Hi all, I’m new to the forum. Just getting ready for the Cybertruck. This will be my first Tesla. I originally had it configured with the Tri-motor is FSD.
