  1. What concept cars would you skip CT for?

Is anyone here into the Aptera? I'd guess it's still considered a concept, but I can't figure out if there would be an actual substantive demand for it.
  2. Tesla rental

Plus the HW would be far too expensive to have each car learn locally. The individual car does no learning. All of that is processed centrally and pushed back to the car. The additional of real-time map, flow, road condition updates make people believe their car is learning locally, but it's not.
  3. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

You don't think it's confrontational and completely out of context to think I was referring to something you said? You barely read the things you are "debating" and pick out random lines out of context to attempt to attack. It doesn't help you win arguments, just makes you look like a...
  4. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

You know you can click the quote button and it will take you to the post where I originally said it, right? Try it.
  5. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

Right. Saying I'm clearly making shit up and attributing it to you when I quoted my own post isn't combative at all. You have no intentions of having an actual conversation. Everything is anecdotal, regardless of the volume. You are half reading what I'm saying and picking out lines out of...
  6. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

Ok. I see you are just trolling. I figured you were actually trying to have a discussion. Carry on.
  7. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

Owner's stories. Rejects. SC employees and Mobile Techs that post. There are numerous reports per day on various social media platforms and even with the low % of owners that will speak either way, it's something that's still occurring on a regular basis. Something that isn't reported, en...
  8. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

No. You cited Mercedes and BMW warranty cost vs. Teslas and claimed that Tesla is better made. That's a ridiculous leap. It's not...I said it shouldn't be expected in my first post. But it is an issue. Rattles, poor fit and finish, poor paint are all common complaints from Tesla owners. Do you...
  9. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

So if a large % of Tesla owners are reporting it, it's still anecdotal. What makes it not? If the media reports it? This isn't a strawman?
  10. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

Funny that you picked out that and skipped the next portion. No goal post were moved, you just didn't read it.
  11. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

There's a bunch of complaints from Germany and MYs from Austin. Regarding Musk, I quoted one from February 2021. I said it has improved since then, but still not close to what I would qualify as good. None of this is dated. Should I post threads from new deliveries of each car? Or are...
  12. What concept cars would you skip CT for?

It's a multi-million dollar vehicle that will never be made. Apples to hand grenades. Audi releases like 5-10 concepts a year like this and none ever come close to production.
  13. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

The point of discussing these things are two-fold; 1. They are real and many owners experience them. 2. Most SC/Techs will go out of their way, at any point in the car's lifecycle, to fix them. So it's nice to have that support. It's not an attack on Tesla as a company. I own stock, own 2...
  14. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

I agree with that and have said that Tesla SC should be more proactive in making delivery cars better, but the interview I was speaking to was in 2021 and it has gotten better, but still not great at this point. Sandy even said his 2021 was much better than previous Model 3s, but there's still...
  15. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

Nonsense that even Elon admitted was true, got it. I mean read what you posted...It's nonsense, despite an overwhelming amount of owners reporting it and Elon confirming it. That's the exact reason why the term fan boy is applied. Despite all of the obvious facts, you say it's non-sense or an...
  16. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

And to the CT, there will absolutely be some major misses to start with. There will be one where a bolt falls off, the headrest falls, seat comes off...something seemingly crazy...a single one and it will be reported everywhere. Every single new car has these issues just as every single mature...
  17. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

The fact that you started your post off discrediting each source, 2 of which are dedicated Tesla owner forums, likely means you aren't able to be objective about the conversation. Tesla is known, globally, for having poor fit and finish, rattles, wind noise, and poor paint. This isn't something...
  18. 💬 Cybertruck production starting next week (month of June) confirmed by Tesla manufacturing engineer at Automate trade show

I love my Teslas and would never own another car (currently), but they absolutely have rattles that cars in the same price point don't suffer from. I've found and fixed many on my 22 MS LR, but they randomly keep appearing. I never had these sort of problems in my F150 Platinum, Mercedes, BMW...
  19. Price increase for pre order?

When you configure you'll be required to pay a $250 non-refundable order fee, I'm sure the $100 pre-order will go to that.
