  1. HARDWARE FIX for hot phone charging issue! New wireless charger has a built-in heatsink

I have the new charger version, it didn’t improve anything for iphone16pro and iphone17pro. iOS26 report low charging. I believe the issue is that the camera bump lifts the phone and creates a large air gap. I think charging might improve if Tesla put an indent at the top of the charging...
  2. HAM radio antenna mount options

It held for 12 months before falling off, stuck it back on and it has been good after that (2months). Not used it on gravel roads. Worst case you could get one of those metal discs that come with some suction cup mounts and VHB tape it.
  3. HAM radio antenna mount options

I’ve not used the icom so can’t really comment on it. The FTM-500d having a speaker in the head unit is great plus.
  4. HAM radio antenna mount options

The difference on this mount is that it is not really a suction cup but some kind of nano-grip geko material. Try it :) Lido Windshield or Dash Mount for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09L7KYXR1 Similar in function to this tape Sewell Airstick Microsuctiontape... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DCWQJ9R
  5. HAM radio antenna mount options

ASTRON SS-50M-AP Plugged into the rear console 110V. Note 50A is overkill, I used it to be able to simultaneously power HF transceiver. See below for mounting and coax feed thru into cabin. https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/ham-radio-antenna-mount-options.11111/post-350138
  6. HAM radio antenna mount options

Very nice (y) How stable is it side to side? I tried making a bracket myself but found some side to side movement, seems to be the CT body construction having some flex. I was trying to run an ATA-120A or 80m hamstick so there is quite a lot of momentum from the antenna whipping left and right.
  7. HAM radio antenna mount options

I ended up with using a trunk lid mount, Diamond K400SNMO mounted to the frunk passenger side. I normally run a Diamond NR770HNMO UHF/VHF antenna, or a Yaesu ATAS 120A, HF/VHF/UHF. I use the ATAS only when stationary, I have not tried it while driving as I think it may be a bit heavy for the...
  8. HAM radio antenna mount options

I was thinking about using one of the roof rail mount locations as antenna mount location. The studs should have really good ground connection to the chassis. Looking for a way to get the antenna from the mount location down on the inside of the body into the cabin.

  10. HAM radio antenna mount options

that would be a good option for 2m, unfortunately I’m also looking to do HF.
  11. HAM radio antenna mount options

I did do a search. I have not found anything on existing feed throughs into the cabin. I’m hoping now there are CT in the wild someone would have some more insight.
  12. HAM radio antenna mount options

I was planning on running a power supply of 120V plug in the rear console
  13. HAM radio antenna mount options

Has anyone figured out how to mount a ham radio antenna on the Cybertruck and how to feed the coax cable into the cabin? I was thinking mounting an antenna bracket in one of the roof rail mount would work, but how to get the coax cable inside? Does the roof rail mount need to be “sealed”, or...
