1-1/2 box steal.. 1-1/4 stainless tube, fill with spray foam to take out harmonic hum from wind, drill and install eye rings or what ever you want. With this material you can configure your own.
I thought it was a given that everyone knew , all doors lock when put it into drive or reverse. They remain locked at all times while driving.. If your in a Crash, they auto un lock...
Well in any case, you missed the point, I wasn't the first to order, Three days after the event. So my place being way down the line and on the east coast. So how ever crazy Tesla decided to release these,,, The fact remains, To expensive and hundred thousands dropped out.
It's not speculation, it's math. I was 330,000 in line. I now have a 39,000 vin in my driveway. So lucky me, I was in the position to purchased one after saving for the truck. Reality check, the price was at $60,000. Now the Basic truck, walking out the door, nothing special, Non-FS,+ FSD...
Really nice, It looks like the studs are centered in you mounts,, every single one of mine was offset to the outside edge. I used 1-1/2 box beam steal and made some mounts, cost about 250 in total. 1-1/14 stainless steal tube for the racks.

You might want to lose that mind set, "Duty Cycle" vehicle's don't cycle during charging. They pull a continuous load. That is the sole purpose for "up sizing cables. This is the problem electricians don't grasp.
The way I read Tesla's info, it seemed like you have to have Ver3 charger for the power share and the universal one was the only ver3, or the newest one out. I do have a Tesla rav4, so that built in adapter works great, between the 3 vehicles.
I too have the Ver # 1 gateway, but mine is hard wired /either net cat5 cable hooked up and the Universal charge connected to the house wifi with no problems, everything load.
I've got to ask again, did they release the power share app ? I already have 23K in solar, 3 power walls, and a Gateway & a The new universal charger. Does Tesla need to be notified to send the Power share out to me ?
