  1. Regular dude reviews his CYBERTRUCK after the first month

I've got a few more miles on mine and agree totally with the OP on his review. A couple of additions: -bugs plaster solidly on the flat nose but not much on the windshield. -the wife and I have made a few longish trips. The seats are comfortable for the two to three hours between stops. It's...
  2. Used Cybertruck to power my house during power outage

Unfortunately, I set my system up long ago and can not remember what I learned then. I've posted a picture of the switch that interrupts the line input. The rest of the wiring is buried. My most recent ICE generator is an off the shelf Costco Firman unit from several years back.
  3. Used Cybertruck to power my house during power outage

Manual Switch was installed when we built the house, 24 years ago. We plan to install the Powershare when Tesla provides it. The cable is wired directly to the switch then to the male plug. The thickness of the cable (and it's cold) makes our flat plug a little hard to maneuver and "seat"...
  4. Used Cybertruck to power my house during power outage

Eventually, the Powershare will be installed, as it's part of the CT Foundation Series purchase, but until then, I am very pleased to be able to just plug in to my existing system.
  5. Used Cybertruck to power my house during power outage

My CT hadn't been home 24 hours before our power went out due to a big storm. I have a cutoff switch with a NEMA 14-50 plug that I usually plug into an ICE generator during power outages. This time I plugged into the CT, turned it on with the app and "no fuss, no muss" the house had power...
  6. 📊 Cybertruck SUBMITTED ORDERS Tracking List & Stats [Add Yours!]

Notes: -My Reservation # RN112744xxx is, comparatively, quite low but I didn't see the email for more than 90 minutes. A lot of people got orders in before me (Confirmation email @ 9:30 PM). I wonder if that is going to make a difference to the date of delivery. -I saw a projected delivery...
  7. Let's come up with an alternative Beautiful Awesome Wiper for Elon

Thanks for the visual. Looks like it'll need a telescoping extension to reach the passenger side. Not a very "simple" design.
  8. Southbound GigaPress Spotted

I've seen several comments that the 11th digit in the VIN are: F = Fremont A = Austin
  9. Elon: Cybertruck will not have door handles!

They'll probably provide a key card as an alternate method of entry and activation.
  10. Operating a Cyber Truck Fleet

Assuming Tesla controls the robotaxi operation and pricing won't they put Tesla owned and operated vehicles into the most lucrative areas? They will have a significant advantage for pricing that will make it difficult for individual fleet owners to compete in the long run.
  11. Tesla Cybertruck’s Structure Will Be Unique, According to Sandy Munro

I'm fascinated to find out how the "not-a-skateboard" aluminum underpinnings are married to the upper folded and stamped Stainless. Bolted and sealed would be my preference.
  12. Is the folded exoskeleton actually easy to manufacture

Yes, but requires lots of heat and does not lend itself to large scale manufacturing. I'm hoping for front and rear injection "mega castings" using aluminum alloy (like in the MY) attached to an 4680 battery pack attached under the SS exoskeleton with stamped aluminum and SS everywhere else...
