Quick update: My truck was still able to charge at a slower speed a few times after this error. I had to wait 11 days for a service appt. I had just enough charge left to drive to the service center but Tesla service said supercharging would work, so I drove to one nearby and it did NOT work...
Thanks guys. Will it super charge still? Otherwise I’ll have to have it towed to service center like 2 hours away.
Unfortunately this happened right before we are leaving for spring break. So I’m going to have to put it in low power mode and get it scheduled while we are gone.
I’m late to this thread, but I have 14.2. It’s been working great. End to end with parking over 5 trips almost flawlessly. Last 2 versions, not so much.
there seems to be a trend with new updates working well for some and worse for others. My guess is something deeper is happening to cause...
I was losing 3-6% overnight with everything off except I had the Tesla widget on my Apple Watch. I noticed the truck was never asleep when I opened the app. I am disabling the widget to see if this helps. Everything else if off, so hopefully this fixes things.
Yup, same exact issue. Can you come back and post results here so I have a better idea of what to do?
This is killing me on my road trip out in the country. I can’t plug in overnight and keep losing charge. Probably 4% each night even though I have turned off everything I can think of.
Thanks All, I tried all of the above with the exact same result. Called roadside support and they said it’s probably a faulty charger. Unfortunately they won’t just send me one, I have to go to a service center, and I don’t live close to any. Oh well. I guess I’ll plan a short road trip.

When it’s charging the green is streaming and the red light continuously flashes. If it’s plugged into the wall, but not to the truck yet, it’s one solid green light and a continuous blinking red light. The manual doesn’t seem to cover that. I guess I’ll contact Tesla and see if something is faulty.
I have tried 3 outlets. And it still charges, just slower. It’s extremely unlikely all 3 of the outlets were not grounded properly. Thanks for the suggestion!
The manual seems to indicate that the temp is too high, but it’s not. It starts the second it’s plugged in, even if it’s 40F outside.
Green: Streaming Continuous
Red: flashing
Charging current is
reduced due to high
temperature detected in
the vehicle connector.
The Blinking is a steady on / off. Probably every 2 seconds. It blinks once it’s plugged in regardless if it’s charging or not. I can try to switch the plug adapter from the working one when I get back from my trip. That’s a good idea.
it’s not on a GFCI. When it tripped, it’s been a 15amp...
The mobile charger that came with my truck doesn’t seem to work correctly. When plugged into 120v, there is a red light that blinks. Sometimes it will still charge the truck, but at only around 6 amps. Other times it will trip a breaker repeatedly. I have tried several different outlets. I have...
So this happened today while installing the T-Sportline light bar. I didn’t even crank it down. These appear to be cheap cast bolts that are NOT easy to replace. (Thanks Tesla ?). Nearest service center is 2 hours from me.
The bolt sheared flush to the bracket. Any ideas on a temporary fix for...
I have had my truck for 15 months. The smugglers bay smell is gone. Only seemed to last 6-8 months and then I stopped noticing it. Still a slight plastic small, but nothing like it was when it was new.
This guy is a joke. “The cybertruck tore in half, it’s so cheap and stupid…” now… “they designed it so well and it’s so cheap to repair!”
It’s almost like you shouldn’t judge something until you know what it was designed to do!? ?‍♂️ - J/K, that’s a stupid idea, forget I said it!
My rear driver side seat pressure sensor is either malfunctioning or out of sync. It shows that the seat is occupied and give me a fasten seatbelt alert even with no one in the seat. When a person is in the seat and they buckle, it does go away.
Has anyone had this and seen it resolved or done...
Looks great. It looks like there is a windshield spacer between the bar and windshield. (I skipped around the video, so maybe I missed the install of that part.) I wonder if that will obstruct a lot of airflow?
seems like a gap there would help with aero a lot, instead of being a giant air dam...
