Hi - to be clear:
1. I did cancel an order with that language in it.
2. Tesla refunded me my $100 and kept the $250.
3. The first page does not list all of those items. It lists an Order Fee and a Destination Fee (as well as an Original Reservation Payment) but does not list an Order Deposit...
I cancelled mine and didn’t have to pay that - though I had only done the $250. My guess is that this only applies if Tesla has taken actions to deliver the truck - they would have a hard time defending demanding additional compensation for damages legally and publicly if they don’t even have a...
Congrats!!!
Sorry for the questions, but I am dying to know - did you order same day? I ordered on the 9th…
Cash or finance? Do you think it matters?
That’s true for the second wave of invitations and for anyone placing a new reservation. When I configured mine on the 8th, Cyberbeast was “early 2024”.
I think, from a production perspective, it makes sense to do all Foundations first as well. Lets the line practice the same (and nearly all) options, avoids confusion around switching, etc.
Are we sure all Cyberbeasts are delayed to the end of 2024? Is there any chance that those that jumped on the Cyberbeast on the 8th or 9th (when the promise was early 2024) get serviced?
Otherwise, I agree - I think the Foundations get fully built before normal trucks get delivered.
When I configured for a Cyberbeast, it said “early 2024”. As someone who has not owned a Tesla before, is this generally aspirational - or can I count on it?
