  1. Epic Fail! - Cyberbeast - Tires shot at 6251 miles!!!

Here is some data for you (and some opinions). I have 4 Tesla vehicles at the moment and have had 3 others for a total of 7. Tires are a "consumable" on Teslas especially if you only drive with the accelerator and use heavy regen. Brakes last forever. After reading this post, I went to my...
  2. Center Console Tray Edge Stiffness

I experienced the same problem with the flimsy center console tray. Plus, the rubber stops have come out and I've tried to glue them back in.
  3. What are your drive settings - Acceleration, Ride & Handling, Ride Height?

Acceleration: Chill but move to Standard when in traffic or anticipating situations (undefined) Ride & Handling: Relaxed but move to Focused when on roads with tight curves Ride Height: Low as most of my driving is on freeways and it will go to low anyway (72 mph is my minimum speed)...
  4. Does anyone have their Cybertruck connected to their powerwall and confirmed it works?

Yes, my Powerwalls were installed without backup. I bought the CyberBeast as Tesla was including the labor so the CyberBeast could provide backup to my house when the grid goes down. My intention is to have Tesla pay to install a gateway that will isolate my key electric loads (circuits).
  5. Does anyone have their Cybertruck connected to their powerwall and confirmed it works?

I wanted to minimize the cost of installing the Powerwalls. Tesla designed and installed the system. The value of the Powerwalls is the ability to arbitrage rates when my solar is producing power (10:00 am to 3:00 pm) to when I am paying a high price for power (5:00 pm to 8:00 pm). The...
  6. Does anyone have their Cybertruck connected to their powerwall and confirmed it works?

I am looking forward to power my house using my CyberBeast. Currently, I have two 13.5 kWh Powerwalls with a gateway. I have solar and multiple Tesla chargers, with a 400 amp single phase service (Pacific Gas & Electric) and multiple sub panels. My Powerwalls will not power my house during a...
  7. Banff is beautiful!

Great photos! I'm planning a trip with my CyberBeast from California to Vancouver Island, then across to Kelowna, north via Kamloops to Jasper, then Edmonton and south through Calgary, Montana, Utah and Nevada to California in early July this year. Your photos are inspiring!

  9. CYBERBEAST review from longtime Tesla owner

I took delivery of my Beast on Thursday. Since then, it has rained three days here in the Bay Area and I'm definitely looking forward to the OTA update to enable automatic wipers. I've learned to be patient ...

  11. Worst delivery in my life (truck died in 5 minutes) UPDATE: FIXED

@cyberstank I took delivery of my CyberBeast on Thursday and I feel your pain. Employees receive the first couple hundred vehicles from Tesla because they will identify and tolerate the initial manufacturing issues. I'm going on a road trip to western Canada in July and I don't want any...
  12. 12/8 CyberBeast waiting room

I'm late posting this and wanted to share with everyone waiting for their Beast. My Beast was delivered at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, 03/27/24 and my registration documents were completed the next day (my wife had to wet sign the documents). Stages and timeline: Reservation 11/21/2019 Reserved...
  13. 12/8 CyberBeast waiting room

Watched a CyberBeast delivery at Tesla Sunnyvale in California this aft. Buyer has two Model X and ordered a CyberBeast. Zero celebration - he simply came in, signed the docs and drove off. VIN was 01xx.
  14. Another regular dude review at one month

Has someone created a Cybertruck delivery checklist? I may have missed it as that would be super helpful. Thanks for the bullet points as it sets realistic expectations.
  15. 12/8 CyberBeast waiting room

I was incredibly pleased this morning - I got my Cyberbeast VIN - 0003xx. Called Tesla and the vehicle is still in Austin and has an expected delivery date of March 28 in Sunnyvale (I am in the South Bay/West Valley). They said the delivery date could move around and to check back in to see if...
  16. What are real Highway mile ranges for the CyberTruck?

I am most interested in the range for road trips. I ordered a CyberBeast and have planned a 4,250 mile road trip in July. My plan is to document my mileage and charging data over the 17 day trip. I will certainly due my best to have the correct tire pressure, etc to have good mileage. I do not...
  17. 2 weeks of Cybertruck ownership and happy with range numbers. You'll be very happy.

Yes, YMMV. We have owned a Model Y Performance since September 2020 and we are at 299 Wh/mile (lifetime). Given CyberTruck's profile and weight, my expectation is for 375 to 400 Wh/mile with our CyberBeast.
  18. Cyberbeast Trimotor VIN Assignment Tracking

Please state your source that "all CB orders was moved to "Mid to late 2024"". I ordered a CyberBeast and haven't received any notification that my delivery window has changed.
  19. Powershare Home Backup eligibility email received today 1/29/24

Tesla installed two PowerWalls in my garage several years ago. I received, and completed, the survey on December 15. Received the same email as most at 2:00 pm Pacific today.
