I also got the email on the 8th and submitted my order within five minutes. Nothing yet.

You guys are remembering incorrectly, it just said “early 2024”.

This is what I received also. “Early 2024.”

Probably all Beasts were moved to Mid-Late 2024? I hope that is not the case and at least some who got that Early 2024, or the Jan-Mar 2024 that many people like me claim they saw are getting their Beasts really soon...

Did they give you a reason as to why?
Most likely because the queue for AWD was quite long when he asked and they were not confident an AWD order placed at that time would be delivered before their place in the Beast queue.

It appears that sometime the week or two before Christmas, the verbiage on the Cybertruck changed.

Cyberbeast production for all CB orders was moved to "Mid to late 2024"

They wanted to deliver the slow and buggy versions out first so they can start manufacturing the real CTs, the beasts.

Please state your source that "all CB orders was moved to "Mid to late 2024"".

I ordered a CyberBeast and haven't received any notification that my delivery window has changed.

On a side note I "know, a guy" that works for a new car assembly plant, he experienced the beginning of a newly designed vehicle, starting with developing the production line and the start of building 6 cars a day. The ramp up is excruciatingly slow. I could bore you with so many details (that I Heard) regarding line changes, parts shorts and personnel turnover. From what this guy tells me the VIN assigned for the most part, when the car is ordered from the customer and the specific parts are ordered or allocated to that specific body number and VIN (thanks to Just In Time part scheduling). If Tesla works anything like that, we already have our VINs assigned in some computer in Texas, we likely just won't know until they start to build or ship. However, even then there are complications, if a part is defective and found during final inspection, I've heard it could take days or even weeks to repair because yes, even brand new cars rolling off the line have defects "I've heard". Additionally, rail seems to take longer to disperse then direct truck line to disperse then direct truck line or so I've heard.

My 12/8 Cyberbeast order stated Jan-Mar delivery and currently there is no indication from Tesla that the original window has moved to the right.

This does not appear to be the way that Tesla allocates VINS. They seem to do it at the last minute possible. Part of this is probably because Tesla tends to build in batches. There's only a couple of different unpainted versions. And then there are only a few paint options. Lots less than most other manufacturers.
While the Cybertruck is different along these lines, batches end up being by color. So they make white ones for a week or two, then blue ones. This has been seen by seeing what the delivery dates are set for. And after the car comes off a line, then they have to fill a delivery vehicle for a specific location.

This is why people think incorrectly that their date is from Dec-March. The attached was the complete ordering screen for the 12/8 invites. The first date presented to them was for the AWD, they didn’t pay attention to the updated date in the Cyberbeast section which says early 2024.
