  1. 700 winding miles in Oregon, mostly on FSD (v13.2.2)

Great write up. I feel that power in the bed will start to become standard equipment on pickups. We don’t have an iceless cooler (yet), but we do have efoils, electric dirt bikes, and electric mountain bikes. All use Li-on batteries so we don’t store them 100pct charged. The CyberTruck bed...
  2. Customer Highlight - Assassin Red Cybertruck Build

Very cool looking. Any guesses on how rack/side panels affect range? My guess is maybe 5% at highway speeds and much less at lower speeds. But that’s just a WAG.
  3. CyberTruck charge speeds at 350kW Electrify America/EVGo stations??

I have a CCS adapter on order from A2Z but it was delay in shipping due to some cosemetic issues. So I haven't been able to test CCS charging on the CyberTruck yet. I will post as soon as I'm able to.
  4. Towed Camper 6,000 Miles w/ Cybertruck - Here is What I Learned

Thanks for the write up. We need a sticky for different size/weight trailers and resulting efficiency. I’ve towed a 20” enclosed cargo trailer extensively on freeway. Use right at 900w/mile at 65-75 mph. Goes up to 1100 at 85 mph. Haven’t towed at 55mph, but hopefully it drops to...
  5. Update - Ecogenix Adapter (CCS1 & J1772 to Tesla Adapter) -- it fits and it works!

I just ordered a different model of CCS adapter and plan on dremelling it off as well. I will report back with my findings. I pull a trailer and the EA CCS stations are spaced much better than Superchargers on my route for a couple of stops.

  7. 700 miles in a day

Thanks for the post. What were your miles per hour charge rate at V3 chargers between 20 and 80 SOC?
  8. Oregon VIN secured

Congrats!! And Come on Idaho!! And I second LFG!!
  9. Boycott Tesla’ ads to air during Super Bowl

Dan can’t beat Elon with software innovation so he’s trying to get the government to stop Elon. Very weak…
  10. Update: Aero Wheel Cover Recall reason = making contact with tire sidewall, wearing down rubber

You are correct. Ordered 12/19. I will gladly drive it around sans-hubcaps until they ship them to me. I'm not a big fan of the aero covers anyway. I took them off our Model 3 a couple of days after delivery in 2018 and have never reinstalled them.
  11. Update: Aero Wheel Cover Recall reason = making contact with tire sidewall, wearing down rubber

I love how some people make a huge deal out of this. It’s a brand new model with literally ground breaking new technology and it has a minor issue with hubcaps??? lol. If you are super angry about this please sell your CyberTruck back to Tesla and let some more deserving human being enjoy it
  12. Powershare Home Backup eligibility email received today 1/29/24

Just received same email. Glad my home is eligible for PowerShare install but was really excited to see Tesla email.
  13. 3 Motorcycles hauled in Cybertruck bed 🏍️🏍️🏍️

That is awesome. We have two Stark Varg electric motorcycles that we will haul and charge with the CyberTruck once it gets here.
  14. CyberTruck charge speeds at 350kW Electrify America/EVGo stations??

Are you getting about 50% range loss when towing with the X? My 20' cargo trailer isn't that heavy, but it's very blockish. It pushes a lot of air, so not going to be great on range.
  15. CyberTruck charge speeds at 350kW Electrify America/EVGo stations??

Thanks for the reply, that makes me feel a little better. I'm hoping the CyberTruck should get double the power, as it should be charging on 800V vs 400V on your Model X. I guess only a real world test will let us know. Definately sounds like the adapter will be the limiting factor. I've...
  16. CyberTruck charge speeds at 350kW Electrify America/EVGo stations??

The 350kW CCS charging already supports 800V. That is what the Hyundai and Porsche batteries been using for years.
  17. CyberTruck charge speeds at 350kW Electrify America/EVGo stations??

I only have to make the 750 mile trip once per year, so I'm OK with it being some nasty charging. I will have to see once I get the trailer, but I'm hoping for 50% range reduction. So from 320 miles to 160. I will start with 100% charge so hoping to charge 4-5 times. I only drive long...
  18. CyberTruck charge speeds at 350kW Electrify America/EVGo stations??

I would certainly hope a station listed as 350kW would have the actual electrical capacity to produce 350kW. Especially since most of the Electricy America stations in my area have (4) 350kW stations and (2) 150 kW stations. I will purchase the CCS adapter from Tesla and do a test with my...
  19. CyberTruck charge speeds at 350kW Electrify America/EVGo stations??

Hopefully I'm not the first to know, as it may be 1-3 months before I receive the CyberTruck. I would think with all the YouTube channels that reviewed the CyberTruck and also trucks in the wild, someone would have connected them to a 350kW CCS charger. Because it sounds like there are only 3...
  20. CyberTruck charge speeds at 350kW Electrify America/EVGo stations??

What is the charge speed of a CyberTruck when charging on a 350kW CCS station with the Tesla CCS adapter? Since there are now quite a few CyberTrucks out in the wild, it would be interesting to see the real world charge speed. I will be towing a 20' cargo trailer with my Foundation series AWD...
