If only! The cost of tires will make this null or at least for me.
My OEMs only lasted 12,500 miles but I also only drive a few miles locally 4-5 times per week.
it's because of the backlog in pcs parts/repairs. all trucks needed this get the free (DC) supercharging.
my truck was in the shop and they did not have the parts so the did the over the app software application of this benefit.
I have a 2024 FS truck with an early 2000 VIN.
I now have 12.9k miles and tonight part of the pack failed and am only getting 24 amps. I scheduled service for later this month.
I sort of works. it takes out the twist, but there is still one that in at the bottom which goes around the passenger's waist. my problem (vin under 2000) is that the bottom part of the strap is installed backwards so no matter how many times you adjust it it's still backwards.
Same. I have an early 2024 model (VIN under 2000) and I still have not received my update. I also purchased the TSportline roof light bar and was going to install it, but now that we're seeing some issues with accessories I am hesitant.
I'm envious of all those who report more than 15k miles with the OEM Goodyear tires. I only drive my truck local for a few miles a day and got 10.5k miles on mine.
my household has had multiple Teslas (S, 3, Y) going back to 2014 and we have averaged replacement tires around 16-25k when even...
Has anyone noticed rust on the lower part of their doors where the seal meetings the panels? I live in Ohio so my truck has seen salt during the winter months. I am wondering if others are experiencing this too?
Same. I've tried to bend the arm, smash it up near the top, etc and still to no avail does it wipe cleanly. When it rains it's slightly better and tolerable, but as the rain dies down you can see the streaks start to appear near the top 18-24" of the wiper.
I it't more annoying than a safety...
I don't use the easy entry so we can rule that out.
I thought it was the tires rubbing on the trim like you hear in some other vehicles if you oversize the tires, but there is plenty of clearance so like others I am puzzled.
Same.
I've experienced this 3 times, but can't replicate it on demand. It seems to occur when parking/after parking and then I turn the wheel a little more. It's a loud rubbing noise coming from outside the truck, but I can't determine what's causing the sound.
So my original issue has occurred a few more times now and it seems to trigger when it's very cold. This happed yesterday and then again this morning where temps are in the single digits.
I use the app to pre-heat and when I get into my truck the system gets stuck on the "max heating" setting...
Agree! I also did the recall with motor and they replaced the arm and blade too. It's terrible and no matter how much washer fluid you use it still smears.
All of our Teslas are the same with almost instant heat so that is why I posted because it is out of th norm. MY CT has been fine all winter, but started doing this about 2 weeks ago.
My VIN is pretty early and around 2000 so I'll just schedule something if it occurs again.
Thanks everyone...
