Yes works. I did it recently to buy a model x.
Received 2k off and also got the credit of 1k.
I used a new email and tesla account to order the model x.
In future will move the model x to old tesla account.
A little bit of inconvenience as now I have 2 cars in 2 accounts. But ok as anyways...
Got it. The new order has to be placed using a new tesla account. So basically use the current account code and use it to place a new order using a new account. Please correct if wrong. Thanks much for the guidance.
For this to work, one has to put the new tesla order using another account. Correct ?
Also will Tesla not notice that the owner on both accounts (referee and referral) are same. Any risk that you may not get either the discount of $1000 or the $500 credit.
Can you please guide or share any...
If it would have qualified, tesla would have updated it immediately on the site as supply and demand has evened up. So it is not qualified for federal tax credit.
Since you already had decided to buy the FS is there any reason you have a change of mind?
If you were really wanting the tax credit like many here, you would have waited in the non FS club.
Is the tax credit not available or it is just a timing thing ?
Can someone share what is going. Was so much waiting for this and now don't see the tax credit.
Excited for WA folks. I am on Eastside in Issaquah.
Waiting to order AWD non FS.
Received my initial order email way back in early December but decided to go for non FS.
Nice informative video.
When tesla did not compensate people when they sold their model Ys at a loss when prices dropped suddenly, they should not punish owners when they sell their CTs for a profit. It is the way business works.
