They aren't going to be very good at keeping things cold if they are solid. Whoever came up with the idea of metal "chilling stones" didn't learn much in their high school physics class.
So, the business model is paying someone full time as a rider, instead of a driver? How does this improve over vehicles with a driver that are far more efficient by virtue of several times more cargo capacity, allowing them to deliver more packages per total miles driven?
CT seems far away from the optimal format for an autonomous delivery vehicle. If there is a real market for that, it could be done better for less cost in both production and operation. So, that comment feels like grasping at straws to me: like selling a ton of CT to SpaceX.
I'm a physicist and guarantee you it produces lift (reinforces the downward flow of air off the back of the truck.)
But... I agree it's functionally meaningless on a CT, even though it looks wrong (oriented to create lift).
You are delusional. Fisker sold fewer than 10K cars ever and was never a going concern - they basically went out of business before selling a single Ocean. Rivian has sold like 150K over multiple years and appears to have the capital for a strong production start for the R2. Unless the R2 is...
Of course the tubing and bleed valve are decorative. The whole thing is decorative (and therefore pointless, IMO). Might as well install some plastic scoops and a diffuser while you're at it. ;)
This. CTE differential placed the glass under compression or expansion. Not at all surprising to see this pattern given previous incidents from this effect.
People are silly. Then again, the "unsellable" Hummer EV is selling as well as the CT.

Well, that's an Ioniq 6, but yeah... I also lament the design choices here given how few EV sedan options there are. The 2026 update looks better - especially the N-line - but not enough photos of it yet to tell how much better.
Spot on. Given the responses, what would you expect this guy to write? Similarly, believing that the truck isn't controversial seems incredibly ignorant of the zeitgeist.
When did people lose the ability to see anyone else's perspective?
Naive is right. The bill is a turkey from the perspective of many of the congresspeople that voted for it for one reason or another, but nobody wants to cross dear leader.
Meaningless unless one corrects for the bias that Autopilot gets used more often on roadways with lower accidents/mile; e.g. freeways vs. city streets. The only way to do this is to weight the Autopilot-off accident rate to represent the same mix of miles traveled on the same exact roadways, at...
If you think we are in a recession, you've never been through a recession: the only countries in a recession right now by the usual indicators are the UK (Brexit fools), Germany, and Japan.
However, it does look like we are headed into one, possibly a severe one, and soon, with most...
Another question: is this stainless? How thick? (It looks quite thin - maybe 1/32" - but someone with calipers would have to measure). At that thickness, you can almost bend stainless by hand.
