Are there any photos yet of what the lightbar fix looks like? I've been checking for months to see if I can get mine fixed ahead of a roadtrip, but so far they're still telling me they're waiting for parts.
Wait it's possible to not have a dimple in the front where it bolts on? Both of mine have a minor dimple, and I thought that's just how it is. Alignment was perfect though.
I have an appt to re-wrap the sections with PPF coming up, figure it's probably not worth raising the dimples at this...
I can't, the only other realistic option I have is a high end sports car (not exotic but close) and there's no way I'm taking it that far out and remote. Comfort would be complete ass compared to the truck too I'm sure you can imagine. I was really looking forward to taking the truck out...
I have a trip coming up that is going to put me half way across the country in the mountains, and I simply can't afford a major failure while out there as I would be hours from a Tesla location at a minimum.
I had scheduled a repair at a local service center and had asked if they could do a PCS...
I just got mine back, is it normal for the glue at the top edge to look pretty wavy? I also see some areas with pockets instead of being 100% flush.
Just wondering given that it appears to me it could be a water/snow/ice trap, and once water freezes it likes to expand.
I had a 1 minute or so outage today, Powershare did not take over, I think because the truck was "Asleep". When I pulled up my Tesla app to see if it was in the process of delivering power and got the truck to refresh I saw "Communicating" as the truck status, but then the power came back on...
I'll never forget my first drive home in June 2024 with my Cyberbeast I had a vehicle approaching where a guy stood up through a sunroof of a shitbox that was going 45+ mph, and flicked me off with both hands. Not only that, but the driver also stuck his hand out flicking me off too. Was...
Yep those are the exact errors I've been mentioning, and that I've tried to notify Tesla about as well. I've mentioned it to my electrician that installed everything too, but he's not sure what to make of it, nor has Tesla given him any feedback on it.
Has anyone who has had the error had an...
Pretty much every gap / trim issue I pointed out the team said within spec and recommended not having them tweak as they'd potentially put other panels out of alignment. They said every truck has come with some gap variance.
Maybe things have changed from last year? The one that bugs me the...
The subpanel (US power of course) takes 240v splits it into the A and B legs so you've got your 120 volt phases on each. Per our calculations we were able to load the following for "Heavy Loads"-
1. Both home furnaces
2. One AC unit
3. Garage / garage doors
4. Laundry room (gas heat dryer)
5...
If you were to install from the get-go with felt tape do you think it would prevent scratches entirely, while still allowing the covers to grip and not fling off driving / hitting a bump? I just got my covers, but I really don't want to scratch up the wheels.
I brought up some noises I've heard in my Cybertruck, but the feedback is it's normal / within spec. One is that my driver side seat back makes a bit of a pop / crack sound at times during turns if that makes sense. I can replicate by pushing my hand on the upper back area too, I recall seeing...
I've tried reaching out to Tesla via email about this, but haven't heard back. This primarily concerns a couple app errors I've seen on my phone at times, never during an outage I really notice, but it seems only during brief spikes where power blips out for a second, or several seconds tops...
I made my first video of my Cyberbeast over at my Youtube channel! Decided to do a short feature first, showing off the finished product, but also have footage of the install that I could edit and post too!
I'm aiming to make some more high quality content too, I got park assist super early...
Hey can you share your quote via screenshots? If Qmerit wasn't involved how was your electrician able to be paid? I was talking to a certified electrician as well prior to getting the qmerit email from Tesla, but I don't know how to bypass Qmerit.
The quote I got was $7k for a heavy loads...
Could you please give some tips / advice on how to best mount things like the mobile charger, first aid kit, etc.? Would prefer to do so securely, and without damage to the bed (or to avoid as much risk as possible of having mounted items become missiles in a crash) haha.
New Cyberbeast owner, just picked up yesterday! The delivery was not like anything I've experienced before, only thing I felt was slightly off was I was discouraged from putting any issues on paper. Instead I was repeatedly advised the best way to note vehicle defects/issues is to use the app...
Looks great, I'm doing the exact same - STEK matte-black, although I'm also using STEK for my tint as well. Did you go with 20% on those front side windows? Any windshield tint?
How are the wrap edges btw, did they have any difficulties on that side?
