  1. Cybertruck races and beats 911 (while towing a 911)! -- 1/4 mile under 11 seconds / 0-60 in 2.6s

today was a mix of fun and disappointment. I had hoped for a big event with new features and cool accessories. I had hoped for news on the Cyberquad. The Range Extender is weird. I don't think they will sell very many. I am probably 2-3 years away from delivery anyway, so I'm sure a lot...
  2. Range Extender Battery Pack increases range to 470+ miles and costs $16K 🔋

so we are talking about 400 pound battery in the bed. you would need a hoist to remove it.
  3. Range Extender Battery Pack increases range to 470+ miles and costs $16K 🔋

The 340 mile range is pretty much what I expected. I might be able to make it work but that price... I am skeptical about the "toughness". I will believe it after Whistlin Diesel has tested it. Let's see how it compares to this: Hilux Durability Test
  4. Cybertruck NO RESALE Restriction (1 Year) Spotted in Purchase Agreement Language

There will be a huge gap between market demand and supply for some time. Scalpers will seek to balance that gap. Tesla is likely trying to manage the problem.
  5. Report: Cybertruck official factory wrap service launches w/in 6 months of first deliveries, at $8-12k price

$8k to $12k for a wrap you could DIY at 1/20th the price? no thanks. The diminishing list of features is also disappointing. I'll wait for final details to decide, but am considering a cancellation.
  6. Cybertruck deliveries to hit 100-120k in 2024 says analyst Ming-Chi Kuo

no ramp is disappointing. unibody and not bulletproof... probably won't float either. Most of the big wish list items are gone. At this point the number of unique features seems pretty limited.
  7. Roof Rack accessory installed on Cybertruck [video + pics]

The CT has a very sleek/minimalist style that does not go well with racks and addons, IMO. It will take some artistic skill to design addons that look good. For example, these roof racks with Starlink look very stupid.
  8. Unassembled fender quarter panels stainless steel parts on Giga Texas factory floor

I want my CT to be bulletproof. I don't care what anyone says, that is a big selling feature for people.
  9. 🕶️ Elon takes Prime Minister Netanyahu for a Cybertruck spin and interior look! [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

panel gaps are an easy way to judge build quality. if the body panels are off, one must assume the drivetrain tolerances could be off as well.
  10. 🕶️ Elon takes Prime Minister Netanyahu for a Cybertruck spin and interior look! [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I just love how Elon makes time to build relations with heads of state around the world! this is so good for the brand. TSLA 🚀
  11. Some Tesla engineers hated Cybertruck's design and secretly designed alternative -- says design chief Franz (in new Musk biography book)

Very interesting! I'm glad Elon put his foot down. Notice how Elon and Franz were aligned, and only the minions had doubts. I hope the CT is a wild success and leads to a Cybercar in the near future.
