Robotaxi will be a phased approach, I think current one is great for level 4 autonomy, hardly ever have to intervene.
I think level 5 can be reached very soon, relatively speaking to how long it took to get here, in 2-3 yrs.

Tesla has responded with something but I see that's it's not quite 466miles. Mercedes might be saving energy with a two speed transmission. So it's yet to be seen how reliable it is and how is the cost.
Perhaps a model 3 with similar setup is in the works.
