Correct. Most ceramic coating's on the market today are not suited for this type of PPF. If the wrong product is applied, you will add shine to the surface of your matte PPF.

Completely agree. Worth the risk with the ease of maintenance after application.

You can always level out any high spots with the reapplication. With the matte/satin film, not very noticeable.

I have used this ceramic coating on several other vehicles that had matte/satin PPF installed on them. The reapplication process after a couple of years usually involves a decontamination wash followed by clay bar to remove any surface contaminants followed by the fresh coat of Halo coating...

Why would I want to remove?

This ceramic coating will last up to two years and can be reapplied sooner if needed. Removal can be done with a panel wipe or a 70/30 IPA solution.

Ordered. It does look like a much simpler solution than the 2 piece Heatshield offering.

I have the identical PPF installed on my CT. There are ceramic coatings specifically designed for matte and satin PPF. I used Gtechniq HALOv2 Flexible Film Coating. No shine at all.
