The CT is my first electric vehicle. So I’m new to the charging rates and how to get the best prices on charging.
I recently had the Universal Wall charger installed. I noticed that the OFF PEAK hours for my home are at .36 / kWh which seems high considering that the supercharger a few miles away is .41 /kWh
Basically, a .04 /kWh difference. If I do the math, a charge from 0-100% would cost me less than $5 more to use the supercharger compared to charging at home OFF PEAK.
Am I seeing this correctly?
If I am understanding this correctly, where can I find additional saving outside of getting solar installed at my home?
Thanks for reading, and any input!
