Yep, totally makes sense. They did replace the "Car Computer" this time. GPSs in the past and again this time. They totally shot gunned it even the harness leading to the windshield housing. I'm doing 'the drive' Sunday that always triggers mine; fingers crossed.

Got my truck back today. Problem could not be duplicated after a 5 minute drive, I told them it only happens on long 1.5 hour plus drives. They replaced the GPS antenna, Car Computer and Windshield Harness. Next long drive on Sunday, fingers crossed!

I know there have been some here who have posted about their experience with Tesla taking their truck back. I'm 99% sure my GPS problems won't get fixed so I am curious about how the return process got kicked off and how it went, good, bad or ugly? TIA

So frustrating, wait for weeks for an appointment only to have them postpone for another week. There is about 0% chance they fix it if they even really try.

Don’t feel stuck. Ask to have Tesla take the truck back. If not call a lawyer. Mine is not temperature related. Happens on longer drives for me.

Service couldn’t duplicate on a five minute drive so they made sure it was plugged in (integrity check) and gave it back. Of course the next trip it happened a dozen times. 3rd appointment scheduled for next week. I’m feeling lemon law sour. Here are a couple videos.

It’s a problem maybe once a month. With previous software builds I had to do a reset of sorts to get it to work again. Now it recovers after a few miles.

I Does anyone else see this? : I'm on the freeway and the position drifts a mile off the freeway and FSD reacts trying to get back on course. FSD tries to follow the Navigation screen as it re-routes from the incorrect position. I attached some recording of the problem. Tesla service has...

Problem, gps off path and lane off center, returned. Reset same way, toggle century off and let truck sleep, and problem gone again. Clearly some software issue.

Changing dorms for summer/ fall

This seems to have worked for me too. Very happy to have FSD back in the middle of the lane and GPS not wondering.

Here I am driving 75mph on hwy 126 and the truck begins to follow the newly drawn incorrect routing.

Sorry I don't get it. The trucks are not vision based? What are they?
