I got it this past weekend. Not early access.
For me, the nag is almost gone on Standard. You can still get it if you stare at your phone and do something for 20 seconds, but it’s materially lower.
I also think the car is less jerky when accelerating and just overall smoother. And - this...
Oh crap. Mine is in last week and they extended it saying they are waiting for the part. 97 miles left…
what happens if the miles hit zero? I’ve never let that happen, though I have had a couple of road trips down to 10 miles left!
I have service scheduled next week for a bunch of small things. VIN 21XXX and 20,000 miles. I’ve loved every minute owning this truck and this is my first service. It’s been rock solid.
As it happens, today the truck would only charge at home up to 24 amps. I messaged the service team asking...
If you take the USB to your home computer you’ll get a better quality video. It’s only the video on your phone and in the car that is poor quality. It’s actually quite clear when you view direct from the USB, so I bet you’ll be able to make out the face and post it all over social media. :)
Got it this morning. FS, 21XXX VIN. WHOO HOO!
I posted that I was still waiting on this thread last night so obviously Tesla is monitoring the thread. Just adding a post is how you get prioritized for deployment. :)
Foundation Series AWD owner here, and I agree with Ri22 above this is a smoking deal. The air suspension, rear screen, and interior outlets are nice…but not reasonable to expect in a $60K, 325 mile AWD EV that does 0-60 in 4.1 seconds and has pretty much all the other features of a Cybertruck...
I loved my 2017 X 100D. It was a great vehicle and the half shafts were fixed with an aftermarket part from N2itive that made the X drive like it was brand new again. Gave me years more enjoyment with the vehicle before I moved up to the glorious Cybertruck!
Oh wow, thanks for this post.
I do NOT have the excessive level of “popping” I heard at the end of your video but I do hear a pop or two at random slow speed turns, exactly as you demonstrated.
Funny thing. I had a Model X and, if any on this board are former X owners, you know they were...
I love the look and the range of the Sierra EV and, as a former Chevy Avalanche owner, the Midgate is a clever feature. I haven’t driven the new Chevy and GMC EVs, but I hear they handle like wet sponges due to the weight. LOL
But I suspect that like the Avalanche, GM will eventually abandon...
Yes, it seems to be at slow speeds, sporadic, and with the wheels turned - at least for me.
I’d describe it almost as a “thunking” noise instead of clicking noise. Thunking is a technical term I have just made up.
It is concerning but I can’t recreate and it doesn’t seem to cause any issues...
Yes, Tesla has an army of remote drivers operating out of Austin and the Philippines. Also the moon landing was faked, the Earth is flat, and 9/11 was an inside job. <Send Post>
Ha! I’ve noticed that too in the Bellevue and north areas.
It’s nice that the ”Tesla Wave” still exists and it’s only for us Cybertruck owners. The rest of the SEXY fleet has long since moved on from that! :)
