While I agree that Tesla needs to get him a loaner ASAP (does not need to be a CT or even a Telsa.. most places have some trade in's lying around).... to say that other manufacturers don't do this is LAUGHABLE. The MFG's don't even really care... its the local dealership that's going to help...
I'm over a month since reported and still no date for me. I hope its resolved before end of summer... Nothing beats the convenience of charging from home.
Wow, this needs to be more widely known. So many people have complained about odd FSD issues that I NEVER experienced. I always suspected some type of calibration or other issue. I couldn't understand how so many of us on the same version of FSD would have totally different experiences...
Whatever vendor makes this pcs for them must be a real nightmare for them not to be able to get a decent batch made. Figure they are going to need to order at least 100K of them to replace all the existing that will eventually die, plus more for new vehicles built. Not a trivial amount that...
My PCS went bad about 2 weeks ago... Same day it went bad I put in a service request... I still don't have a date to bring it in... I understand they don't have parts but what's a reasonable timeframe for them to figure out when they will get parts to schedule me? I'm going on a 2,000 mile...
I'm going to give a little counter story.... from my own experience. Shame on me for not knowing any better I guess, but now that I do, I think if I get in a situation like this with no damage, I am going to leave w/o a note as well. This happened with vehicle before CT.
I went to a baseball...
I dont' understand? what did you want it to do... looked like perfect driving to me?
Traffic stopping in front - person behind and to the right of you so it can't move over until it passed, then it made aggressive but normal move into right lane to keep moving... what more did you want? Blame...
Mine has been scarily perfect for the last 6,000 miles of FSD.... I almost don't want to be upgraded to the 14.3 branch its been so good for me. And this is in NJ... one of the more challenging states to drive in. I swear they give us all different versions as a test (call it the same...
14.2.2.2... In a 35 MPH zone, hurry and standard are driving 35-36. In a 45 MPH zone hurry and standard drive 42 mph. In a 50, hurry does 52. In a 55 MPH zone, hurry does 65. In a 65 MPH highway - hurry does 80. Basically it's all over the place and totally inconsistent for different speed...
Really enjoying having 14.2 drive me everywhere. That said I have a couple items bothering me in my CT. I say in mine because from reading other people's feedback, other people have totally different issues and I do not ever experience their issues.
1) Speeds are inconsistent and many times...
Meanwhile, my CT after 14.2.2.2 doesn't want to speed at all. Which in NJ is a mortal sin and will get you shot. I have to keep hitting the accelerator in Hurry mode to get it above speed limit. Hurry was perfect when it would do 10 over and standard did 5 over.
I know i am the minority as most people seem to love Waze. But I really dislike waze. The cartoon interface, which my brain mistranslates when looking at the real world, combined with the constant nags (police activity ahead is it still there???) Car on side or road? Still there?? F off...
I am sure I am the only one, but I hate waze. I find it distracting with it constantly asking you questions... police activity... is it still there???? Car on side of road.... is it still there????
Who are these people that are so excited to put in these notifications? I have ridden thousands...
