Help me out here... not afraid to highlight ignorance... does the act of just using FSD provide feedback for improvements or do we need to manually provide feedback when we turn FSD off and are prompted? I use it fairly regularly, but rarely provide feedback when prompted.
my installer recommended hand washing. i've had the wrap for 7 months now and go through a touch car wash at least once every other week, sometimes weekly, without issue so far. Not suggesting this is good practice and understand your specific question was around touchless, just giving my...
love those wheels... would have preferred black, but don't hate the finish. those are the tires i'll be going with next, so would be interested in your thoughts longer-term. can you share offset... looks to have a good stance on it in my opinion.
Not yet. keep getting pushed for parts not available. each push has generally been 2-3 weeks, this last one (today) was pushed a week to 8/7. not sure if you can read anything into that.
I can’t imagine it’s meaningfully harder between matte and satin. Gloss, maybe you need/want to more frequently, but the process shouldn’t be any harder.
on the ceramic finish… I was concerned with changing the sheen (I went with satin) and didn’t want the ceramic coating to alter the finish. I...
common issue and known by Tesla with their recall. I believe the recall is for the side pieces only, but I know of another with the tailgate cap gone. Poor design on retaining clips. I’ve requested all three to be secured with new retaining clips for my service appointment. Service date keeps...
I seem to recall the original post being a little more scathing. Appears to have been edited, which I believe appropriate. I also ordered June 10. On June 19th, after not seeing progress on tracking number, I emailed at 8:53pm. Received a response 25 minutes later stating the manufacturer was...
It's what I love about these forums... get to have someone else go first and then I can copy ?
I've modified a ton of vehicles - this one is challenging. On the one hand it's a truck and i like bigger, beefier wheel/tire combo, on the other hand its a performance car. Think this is a good...
Think this is the winning offset for me (especially if needed). saw another post with the same and really like how the tires pop out just a bit from the fenders. appreciate you posting!
Mind sharing your wheel offset specs. I prefer to have the wheel/tire come out a bit from the fenders, like you have. Nothing drastic, but like your stance. When truck is in low suspension setting I think it looks ok, being flush, but don’t love the look when in the high setting.
Yikes... as you shouldn't. Sorry, didn't read your original post carefully - you mentioned you had a service appointment. Good luck.
If you don't mind posting, I'd be interested to read the fix for the bed rail caps. I got the sense that Tesla acknowledged the clips were defective so I'd be...
Sorry to read. Same happened to me, although I made it to 95 when mine ripped off, so guess that’s a win. Clips are a bad design and believe Tesla is aware. If you haven’t already, complete a service request. Mine quoted at 3 weeks out, but that’s for mobile service since I’m 2 hours from...
took her off road today, kinda:p. Actually, that is the installer’s pic after doing my wrap. (satin white. Copying freemarket’s rig). Really love how the muted white turned out!
Depreciation is a financial consideration… Personally don’t believe there is prudent financial justification for this vehicle. Requires you to value fun and experience, which only you can determine. Firmly expect depreciation rate to be higher than other vehicles, but the CT really isn’t like...
So cool!
well, you partially inspired me. Went with the satin white. Just got it back tonight. Love it, thank you. Looks so good in person. I say partially because I couldn’t DIY it. Watched The videos and knew I didn’t have it in me to take this on. Had a local shop do it and am glad I did...
The tilting mirrors and cameras work well (especially just to watch the rear wheels turn :)). But I would prefer an aerial/360 view. Anyone know if this is somewhere and I’m just missing it?
