I just replaced my tires and considered them but I like the cyber cover and the sidewall of the Pirelli didn't look as good with them. I bought the factory Goodyears through Tesla - they were actually the lowest price.
I got the chance to try ANC in a Model S yesterday. It took me a while to figure out the difference toggling it on/off. It's not as obvious as noise cancelling headphones but it did reduce the low frequency hum. It will be nice to have on the Cybertruck but I don't think we've been missing much.
I've gotten several questions about my repair. I use the Lynnwood WA service center. They are AMAZING. I have been a long time customer and have always gone out of my way to be extra kind, understanding, and as stupid as is sounds, I take donuts for the techs literally every time I go. I...
I've got no symptoms but mine is being replaced right now proactively. And I got a brand new model s plaid as a loaner to boot 😁. I'm telling you, the secret is to always take donuts.
I created a service request to see if they would replace mine pre-emptively since I have a big road trip coming up. I kind of expected them to say no but they accepted the request and I have an appointment this Thursday for which they ordered parts. Interestingly, the repair estimate is $480...
I've noticed the same. I keep encouraging it to go 5 over in Standard profile assuming Tesla is capturing data on how many time people are trying to make it go faster. Another thing I've noticed with the last few builds is that when going over hills, it slows down much more than it used to and...
Can someone clarify how the nav behavior is supposed to work? Mine seems to be inconsistent. For example, if I'm in the car with no route planned and open grok and ask it to navigate to the Fred Meyer in Redmond, it will find the store and pop up the info about and tell me how far it is and...
With the 2025.44.25.5 Holiday release, the nag is back even with the extra IR light. Its quite a bit worse now with the FSD Hands Free unavailable message happing frequently even with really good light. I've even gotten it a few times during the day.
You are correct. I should have been more specific. I was referring to the majority of cars that don't have ADAS systems that don't have any type of monitoring.
What is your experience with FSD and turn signals? It's about the only remaining issue that causes me to sometimes disengage FSD. On my Cybertruck, FSD signals right turns way too soon, sometimes passing two or three possible streets before getting to the actual street confusing people behind...
It's funny to me that people are flipping out over this and not the fact that no other manufacture monitors drivers for attentiveness. With this release, Tesla is simply starting to do the same thing as everyone else when you use your phone which is...nothing.
