this is due to defect IMU unit. The entire computer needs to be replaced because it the unit itself is not easily replaceable. I had this issue for months before and now it is fully fixed.
You need to go back to the locations where this drift happened, and confirm it reproduce consistently at...
I am about to buy a CCS adapter and saw on amazon like this one:
https://a.co/d/6XHqrX9
But it says before purchase verify your Tesla supports adapter by going to setup menu, software, additional vehicle information, CCs adapter support. I don’t see that “CCS adapter support” option. Does...
I towed with a 26ft airstream and got about 110-120mi between charges with a 10-15% reserve.
Some statistics from my last trip:
Level - 65mph: 920wh/mi
Level - 60mph: 820wh/mi
Level - 55mph: 620wh/mi
Hill - 65mph: 1100wh/mi
Hill - 55mph: 800wh/mi
Mountain - 60mph: 1400wh/mi
The GPS issue is on and off for me since I had it in last Jun. Sometimes every day at the beginning of a drive; sometimes in the middle of a drive; other times no problem for a few weeks.
I let service center looked at it once but they said it could just be poor signal reception at places and...
there is a similar road situation near my home. Seems when it is a much more than 90 degree right turn with little room before merging to the lane, FSD cannot see traffic coming.
I wonder in this case the signal from side camera is not used, or the moving object / vector cannot be properly...
High pressure inside prevents air leaking in from outside. Yet, high pressure inside requires air from outside.
If it is real bio attack, I suppose bio defense mode works, since HEPA filter would be effectively filter out virus.
if it is odor, sounds like bio defense mode would make it worse...
have anyone did tire rotation by yourself for the Cybertruck? I am curious to learn:
How easy/hard is it in general? How easy to locate the jack points? I only see it in manual. How easy to jack up both front and rear from one side?
What equipment should I buy to do it? I imagine two jacks, a...
I am getting two quotes for installing PowerShare.
One installer mentioned the need (and cost of $2000) to install disconnect switch from outside at the meter), citing it is required by code and allows first responders to disconnect the system.
The other installer said it is built-in in...
Drive 55mph instead.
An alternative is to look up RV campgrounds along the way and call them to see if you can charge at a 50amp site for a fee for a few hours. Doesn’t give you a lot more range, but if you are only short for 20-30miles, that could mitigate the problem.
Good to know others from WA are also waiting.
https://www.tesla.com/support/registration?source=app says Tesla will be the one to send out license plate, for WA.
I dropped by DMV and got a new temporary plate. It has to be within a week of expiration for them to issue new temp plate though.
Just tried it out. I noticed it doesn’t seem to require hands on wheel as model X did. It is still good practice to have hands on it, but not requiring it makes short demos cooler.
At one left turn, it turned a bit too tight and get close to the car waiting on the perpendicular road. No...
I read somewhere in another thread here that suggest to use Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scour Pads on the surface after spraying CitriSurf77. Is that not necessary?
I am normally used to people curious around the CT everyday, poking inside (as sentry shows), comment a word or two as I exit / enter the car. That’s fine. And I feel happy to share too.
Today, we parked at a national historical site in southwest WA. One of the children was fuzzy and throwing a...
As much as I like how CT looks without side mirrors, I couldn’t think of driving it with half the screen unavailable for navigation and other apps.
I guess that’s why you have a mounted iPad, for navigation purpose.
I can possibly accept a solution where the iPad is mounted right behind the...
this is cool! I have been looking for such a solution and am not sure about using suction caps from inside.
Can you share some more details about what roof rack you used, how did you by pass 12v regulator, etc?
I am likely going to use Starlink mini instead of gen2, to eliminate the need of...
I tried to use hair dryer with the outlet in the CT’s bed. It started and stopped right away. CT shows I need to unplug and re-enable the outlet.
the hair dryer is 1875W and the manual says the outlet allows 20A, so that should be enough. Manual also says “The AC outlets on Cybertruck are all...
My weekday commute is usually 20-30mi per day. Is it better to:
Keep it plugged upon returning home, and charge every night to, say 50%, or
Charge to 80% by Monday morning and leave it unplugged for the entire week?
From other threads, sounds like 50% is better for battery longevity. But is...
That’s a lot of drag there with the cabin on the boat.
and yea, 65mph is too fast. I just towed my 6000lbs airstream this weekend and got 760wh/mi. I tow at 55-60mph with very conservative accelerations.
