I sure would hope so.
Mine doesn’t have that, there are defects in body/bends, but not that bad. I actually brought it up to SC and they acted like it was fine and gaslighted me. That kinda pissed me off but whatever. I think Tesla is pressuring SC to not fix cosmetic issues. But yours looks...
It’s crazy to me that every SC and tech provides different guidance on what is vs isn’t normal.
Some folks here have great SC that have great techs. Others have techs who will call everything normal and shoo ppl out the door.
you think Tesla would be able to provide SC consistent SOP in what...
My buddy is seeing similar issues out east, no available SC appts. Even after speaking with a human.
I understand it’s holiday time but honestly Tesla has known about many of these issues for months. It frustrates me that they didn’t take some time to hire and train up more folks. Now it’s...
if Tesla was more responsive and responsible in addressing these issues- I get it. New vehicle, new issues.
But at my SC location they act like this issues are to be expected. Idk how to explain it but it’s like- you’re on you’re own…
Just want Tesla to take care of folks who support em...
i lived in Colorado for 3 years. I promise, driving in the snow is a normal thing in many places.
I’ve driven my CT in LIGHT snow and have had to stop and pull out ice scraper to clear…
im amazed at how some of the folks here think this isn’t a design issue. Giving advice like “don’t drive”...
I mean, this isn’t a process issue.
you stole someone else’s work.
You had to add a step to the process - “Don’t steal other companies IP”?
Not trying to be a dick but I’m failing to understand how this was a procedure/process mistake.
Is this a joke?
I have other vehicles that don’t have this problem so how would it not be a design issue with the CT?
idk of any trucks that are incapable of driving in a storm. In fact, most trucks are designed with the possibility of harsh conditions in mind.
Hi all,
You may have seen my post previously about issues with my CT. The weather stripping on the CTs is some of worst I’ve ever come across. It’s insane to me for the price we paid, they didn’t do any QA or testing on this. Mine hasn’t worked from day one. I was hoping we would get a recall...
I'm trying to understand the physics of how this happened.
I've had a Ford and Toyota Truck. The hitches were virtually indestructible. I beat the hell out of my Ford.
Trying to understand why ours is different.
See this is where I'm confused. So where is the max of 160 pounds coming from? Did they make a mistake in the owners manual? Doing the math, something seems off
I am in disbelief right now. Is this true ?
https://www.torquenews.com/11826/tesla-says-cybertruck-hitch-rated-support-same-vertical-loads-model-y-no-more-160-lbs-or-2
• "The hitch receiver is designed to support vertical loads up to 160 lb (72 kg) "
This would help explain all the issues...
Looks like it’s even worse than originally thought. Everyone stay safe and keep a fire extinguisher nearby. Emergency responders say they have never seen a car fire this bad...
Hi All,
How do you email/call Tesla Support?
I'm helping a buddy go through a site for new vehicle and there are options missing.
I've always used my app, but I don't know how to email support for general questions. Basically, how do customers reach out to support?
I guess he could call too...
You bring up a good point, I had not considered this. I don’t have kids but do have families children in car with me from time to time.
I can’t test right now, but you’re saying the release still works even if child locks are on? This isn’t really an issue for me but curious for the sake of others.
I guess we will wait to find out. The person involved did die though.
I was looking through more pics. It’s like it burst into flames. Incredibly strange. Entire frame looks melted. Nothing nearby that would explain it. Maybe battery exploded? Who knows.
Yeah I’ve gone through the manual/emergency open. It is not easy to do in an emergency, when seconds matter.
Also my manual “pull” only works on my door half the time when I was testing. It’s really weird it’s like it’s not setup correctly. Idk if that’s limited to my model or is more...
I was just discussing with my wife my concerns about getting stuck in CT during an emergency. We ran into issues already where doors wouldn’t open.
looks like something similar happened the other day, and the person died...
Has anyone read these new articles detailing more info about Tesla production? It is scathing and could help explain the issues many of us are facing, with CT and other models.
I attached the important pics from the article, but included other articles stating the same thing at the bottom. This...
