I highly recommend the URANDER solution for this. We have two 100+lb GSD’s. You fold up your seats and the dogs have the floor to sit/lay on. The advantage of this configuration is the dogs are lower with further prevents them from easily hopping into the front seats

The problem can occur if you apply the tint on the inside. If it’s applied on the outside it shouldn’t be a problem

I would be very cautious about tenting the sunroof, many vehicles have cracked because it reflects the heat back into the door glass. There’s already a tent from the factory on it.
