Any guess on how many you might have saw there? My 30 day loan application (after VIN was assigned and I had to complete the finance section to move forward with the order) expires on Sunday. It’s be nice for buyer’s not to have another hard hit on their credit just because Tesla couldn’t...
Great shots! Would you mind sharing where you went in the North Cascades? I plan to get onto some forest service roads along HWY 2 and also Walker Valley ORV when we take delivery of ours.
I’m a day 1 reservation holder as well, took a couple hours though with Tesla’s site frequently crashing. Configured AWD on 12/29, VIN assigned on 3/29. Mine should be delivered to Lynnwood.
No update on a delivery for mine just yet, VIN 55XX.
I drove past that holding lot today, no CT’s. I stopped by the Lynnwood SC afterwards to try and get some PowerShare info. The sales person I talked to said 2 or 3 CT’s were delivered yesterday. He had no other details.
Yep, it debuted when the CT was unveiled back in November 2019. Elon mentioned it would be available for order with the CT. I haven’t heard anything on it recently, curious if it’s still in the plans.
A page about PowerShare on Tesla’s website links to the standard Wall Connector, they must have added the bi-directional capability awhile back, maybe only the latest gen. I was under the impression it was a new WC required for the bi-directional charging, but apparently not...
I had sticker shock from the quote the initial company Tesla gave my contract too. I sent a message through the app to Tesla asking if i could reach out to other Tesla certified installers, they sent me a link to their page of installers. I’m currently waiting on a couple more quotes...
I don’t think I would install for any potential resale value. Hardware can become outdated and currently i believe the CT is the only vehicle that is compatible with a PowerShare.
Do you lose power in your area very often? We get fairly high winds in the winter from time to time and have been...
I’m currently working on getting multiple quotes, the first that came through from the electrician that Tesla gave my contact information to came in at $5200, and that was installation right next to the circuit panel (no long cable runs).
I plan to have my PowerShare installed after delivery, I...
Unless you’re prone to a lot of power outages, I don’t think i would install a PowerShare for that short of time. You likely would not get much of anything for resale on it when you sell your house and right now the CT appears to be the only vehicle that would be compatible with it anyways, so...
I believe some VIN’s in the 6,000’s have been delivered. Sounds like some states may not have had any deliveries yet.
I received my VIN (55XX) on 3/27, no update on delivery to WA for mine yet.
Yeah, I think you’re right. I just replied back to them with some follow-up questions. I was expecting a line-by-line quote, just got a couple paragraphs followed by that pricing. Seems the PowerShare install itself is over priced too.
They did mention this is their original email, this...
I just got my PowerShare install quote from the third party electrician that Tesla sent my contract information to. I need to verify details as none were provided, but they’re apparently saying I need to upgrade my circuit panel with a SPAN smart circuit panel because of some “double stack”...
