Update: just scheduled delivery for 11/16. So hyped!

My 49XXX VIN is a 2024.

I received my VIN (49XXX) on 10/28, just over two weeks after ordering. I don’t have a delivery date though; went to the service center yesterday, and they were able to show the location of my truck — hasn’t left TX yet. eta: will be taking delivery in Fife, WA.

Pretty sure you can do it after. I’m not familiar with financing through Tesla (I’ve only ever used Navy Federal), but when I ordered my Model X last year, I got a VIN before I completed the financing step. I’ve also heard of people selecting the “cash” option and switching to financing after...

I’m financing. Ordered 10/13, VIN assigned 10/28 (49XXX). No delivery date yet.

Just got my VIN! Invite 10/11, ordered 10/13. In Washington state.

Right?? But I try to take what the advisors say with a grain of salt since I’ve received bad info from them in the past. So, fingers crossed it’ll be sooner for all of us! Hang in there lol.

So, I’m not sure how reliable this info is, but an advisor at my local service center told me it’ll be about 6 weeks until VIN assignment for me. :cry:

I feel your pain! It’s been 8 days for me since ordering and no VIN. Same configuration as your order.
