$59k Base Dual-Motor AWD Cybertruck Begin Delivery!

Damn I wish they sold them in Canada, I'd update my model Y to another Cybertruck 🤌

How To Use 3D Printers to Advertise on a Cybertruck 😄

I was thinking actually about something similar. I was thinking about a hot glue though. The only problem is that when you print something relatively large, you want to prevent it from slipping down. That's why I used electrical tape instead, because it has better grip than resin or even hot...

How To Use 3D Printers to Advertise on a Cybertruck 😄

Well, It was fun :) Besides that, I really think it's more useful than a wrap if the logo doesn't need to be all over the truck.

How To Use 3D Printers to Advertise on a Cybertruck 😄

I had one stainless-steel Cybertruck, forty neodymium magnets, six 3D printers, fifty kilograms of PLA filament, and a whole galaxy of stupid ideas, Fusion 360 and other CADs, STL files, and one free garage for experiments... and also way too much free time, a few liters of isopropyl alcohol and...

Convenient Starlink Mini dashboard mount + Video

There are my kids behind my seat 🤣 and I personally don't like much any visible cables, just my thing, I like to either hide all signs of them or modify it, so it looks as aesthetic as possible 🤷‍♂️

Aren't you worried someone could steal it? I honestly always think that someone could dismount it and simply walk away, since it's low enough to the ground that anyone could mess with it.

Well, nothing critical. It might reflect, but I do not think it should be anything bad due to the steep angle of the windshield. I might test it, but the problem is we have no sun 🙃

Convenient Starlink Mini dashboard mount + Video

I tested my case and it didn't affect the connection whatsoever. I went with a white one to reflect sunlight during hotter days, a black one actually is a good idea if you want to mount it under the windshield, yet keep an eye on the temperature.

What I love about this battery in particular is that it shows you how much power it consumes, so you have a very precise understanding of how long it will last.

I don't think it will work properly with this type of mount AND this battery because it relies on two lips to hold it in place. While it is fine on one side, it should not work on the other side since the battery is flush and there is nothing to grab when the battery pack is installed.

Hey, no problem. Thank you for checking in on me 😁 Just to clarify my logic: I am not really opposed to using battery or continuous power for accessories. I am thinking mostly about convenience because I do not want to constantly plug and unplug things like for example the fridge. The fridge is...

Do you mean a BMS? Based on what I found (it's not 100% though as their website doesn't confirm that) it looks like their power bank uses USB‑C power delivery with an onboard bms that governs charge current, voltage, and temperature (all this info is available on the screen). So logically - it...

Convenient Starlink Mini dashboard mount + Video

Totally, it's about personal preferences for how to organize the space and how to mod the items we like. I was thinking about a silicon case, but decided to do something different because I wanted to get something maximally robust (that I can control, and I don't really like the feel of silicon...

Convenient Starlink Mini dashboard mount + Video

Sure, I added all the things I used to mount in the video description. I think it'll be easier to understand if you take a look 😄. I'll try to explain though (I'm terrible at explaining, heh): basically, there's a tray you put behind the screen—it has camera gear thread inserts. The tray itself...

Convenient Starlink Mini dashboard mount + Video

I didn’t want to permanently install Starlink on the roof or on the glass roof inside (because I’ll have a RTT there and it’ll obstruct the Starlink connection). Instead, I decided to install it under the windshield. This setup is very useful for road trips, camping, and more, especially if you...

F-150 Lighting EV Cancelled. To be Replaced by EREV Hybrid Lightning

A couple of thoughts: 1. Sad, as it was a good electric truck and it could become even better and find more customers over time. Gas cars are a short-term solution that'll ruin their business. 2. Good, because it'll give some necessary boost to Cybertruck sales, especially from...

Roof Rack, Tent, Awning, and Wind Fairing setup on my Cybertruck

Looks great! I have the same rack. What is the RTT model you chose? What are its sleeping area dimensions?

Split the 48v power line to a 12v socket in frunk. It now powers the console fridge INSIDE cabin 😎

Yeah, that's lovely. Really a good idea, I'll probably improve mine this way as well when it gets a bit warmer here to work outside 🤌

FSD v14.1.7 rolling out to all Cybertruck owners! Update yours yet??

Talking about radars, I would love Tesla collected user data about these things and speed limits and errors similarly to Waze. It would be so much up to date.
