Found out the circles are a reflection of 2 of the camera lenses for the windshield cam. It’s a lens flare from the oncoming headlights. I’m going to the SC Friday. I recommended a polarized filter they can mention for future issues.
I had my truck stop a few times from glare. Usually at night. Getting my camera cleaned to hopefully help. But maybe they should put a polarized lens to help with glare?
My wheel covers were rattling and discovered the center ring broken off and the plastic pieces that held the ring were broken off the wheel covers. In another cover one of the clips broken off. Anybody have this issue and have they used their warranty to get replacements.
I recently had my PCS replaced a few months ago. Had another PCS2_a051 warning come up, but no noticeable charge difference. Anybody have this issue and had to get another PCS?
I had to pop out mine because I had to clean it, and the rear clips broken off. If you use a pry tool, pull it straight up. If they break off, UV glue works really well. Better than crazy glue. Yes the part is cheap to order, but Tesla charges $200 for shipping anything.
Got an HVBATT_a170 code and I wanted Tesla to make sure everything was alright. Tried to setup an appointment and they gave me an estimate for $275. My battery only has 15k miles on it and it is still under warranty. Why am I being charged just to make sure my battery lives a long life?
I got it replaced and it’s charging fine now. Looking at the manual, looks like they had to take apart the bed area. They must have discovered how I had my spare tire ratcheted in the back because the cover wasn’t completely on. Lol
I hit a pothole this morning that caught my attention. I heard someone had severe damage one time and had to pay 34k. That guy had to get his tuck towed. I probably have nothing to worry about for now. But does anybody have any pothole stories to share?
What I asked for was a battery check because there was dripping from underneath the truck, which they said it was more likely the AC, but they did a coolant check anyway. You probably get a AC drip too, and just mention your concern.
