HVBATT_a170 SC inspection

Got an HVBATT_a170 code and I wanted Tesla to make sure everything was alright. Tried to setup an appointment and they gave me an estimate for $275. My battery only has 15k miles on it and it is still under warranty. Why am I being charged just to make sure my battery lives a long life?

Don’t worry, your covered by the factory warranty. Standard procedure for all Tesla service.

This gives customers an estimate in case they are out of the warranty period.

Most things default to customer pay these days… Personally, I simply would not approve the estimate as long as you have the service appointment, you should be OK
