Thank you! My rep finally said those were the pads too but had no idea about the end caps, I am going to try to order them. He said they haven’t even put one on aside from the glue method. He laughed when I told him about the bracket and said “classic Tesla that you would know before me”.

I was able to get everything but I also didn’t get the corresponding pads to go into the lightbar like another poster on here. The service center rep looked at me like I was crazy when I asked where the pads were when I showed him the parts specifically say “with pads”.

Any updates? I was able to source some brackets but I also don’t think they will have the pads. I haven’t received them yet though.

Could also just be dumping RWD pieces and drop the trim all together.

On our X it is always “Calibrating…”, not really that useful. They specifically call it out in the new trim differences chart so I assume it will come sometime in the next decade.

Since the update I’ve noticed a high pitched short noise when I first get in the CT, it definitely wasn’t there before and seems like it’s coming from the dash. Anyone else notice this?

It’s because we are the red headed step child of Tesla. Similarly Tesla’s patents for the Cybertruck showed the rear tail gate light bar as dynamic and an indicator of charge percentage, a simple software tweak we will probably never see.

My bet is that they finally throw in the hat on the CT and come to terms that it is a low volume vehicle and make the luxe package mandatory pricing the S, X and CT as the top line products and the 3, Y as the volume leaders.

Today is literally the worst it’s ever been, dangerously bad. I’ve experienced it time to time before but not like this. I can’t wait for V14.

My experience is that they always damage something else in the process of fixing something. I have never walked away without some sign they worked on my vehicle, and that’s not just the CT but every Tesla I’ve owned. I wish they had them respect people’s vehicles a little more.

As a side note I’m so glad those handles went up to the pillars.

I guess I don’t understand the delay at this point, I too am waiting and with relatively expensive truck and solar setup I would hope they would get this worked out.

I think it’s natural Franz would have made or at least thought of some designs using the same design language or CT as a base for other models but reality is the CT never took off. My guess is they will price the CT with the S and X and can any planned variations of the CT permanently. Cheaper...
