I had a similar issue where my FSD completely shut off. But then a day before my servicing it fixed itself. I've noticed that the lane markings on the FSD visualization have been very laggy ever since that issue appeared and disappeared.
Glad you and your son made it out safe. People still want to deny the fact that FSD v14 isn't safer than humans when it can literally react faster than a human. Great tech and I always would want a Tesla in my home.
Honestly, I think if FSD v14 is able to achieve level 3 and let us go on our phones, CarPlay won't be as useful then.
But, I'd rather have the feature then not so props to Tesla team for listening to the community.
It is definitely way smoother overall, though you can notice it tends to think too quickly. Like if a car from a perpendicular lane comes into view it starts to brake stab a little bit.
Overall though I am very happy with what this FSD update has brought to the CT. Massive improvement.
I think the reason we didn't get ASS is because it's about to become redundant in a future FSD 14 update. I know Elon recently said that Banish & a new summon are coming soon.
Its really cool that they now have the ability to ask the driving model why it performed a certain driving maneuver or not. And the fact they can generate completely fake driving scenarios is also insane. I don't think any other self driving software has this much infrastructure backing it up.
Right, we are expected to receive it with fsd 14. This update listed above is compatible with all hw 4 and hw 3 AMD teslas, and the update is still in early access.
It seems this update is going to be larger than Tesla advertised. A lot of UI improvements coming with FSD v14 to enhance the robotaxi experience and bring our cars closer to an unsupervised taxi experience.
FSD v14.1 for CyberTruck i assume will come in a week or so, definitely before the next major version FSD v14.2.
Elon Musk says "the all-wheel steering of Cybertruck requires a bit more Autopilot training"
