I normally run service with a 6' ladder but if I need an 8' ladder, strapping one on top of the rack is no problem. The 10' ladder lives in the eSprinter. I'll try to take a side profile picture this weekend with the 8-footer.

FYI, those Aluminum Telescoping A-Frame Extension Ladders are awesome and a great invention for maximum use and flexibility.
Unfortunately, they aren’t all OSHA compliant outlined in 29 CFR 1910.23 and 29 CFR 1926.1053. They won’t allow them on some of the Union jobsites I work on.
Jeff - I just wanted to share that I have a full size 6ft A-frame ladder in my bed that I use for service work. I still have about an inch with the tailgate closed. I'm also able to fully close the tonneau cover keeping everything secure. Check out the pics.
