Hi all. I'm thinking about ordering a CT for work. I carry a lot of tools and equipment including a 6' step ladder. I currently drive an F150 Supercrew short bed. The ladder only fits diagonally in the bed which means half of my tools/equipment are behind the ladder, which is not unmanageable but a bit of a pain on the days when I don't need the ladder. I risk scratching the side of the truck with zippers and buttons leaning over the side (grinding dirt into the paint when it's not clean), or I have to remove the ladder to access stuff behind it. I know the CT has a 6' bed and am wondering if anyone has tried secruing a 6' step ladder against one side of the bed? It looks like it's the perfect size and shape to for it.
The CT has 4 roof rack bar locations. If your ladder interferes with equipment you can get roof rack bars. As an aside, BuiltRight Industires just came out with Milwaukee Tool Pack Out mounts and that system would be awesome for tradesmen/skilled craftsmen that need to bring tools along.

You’d have a greater volume of available lockable space below the tonneau of the CT. You could install various Milwaukee pack out mounts. The ladder MIGHT fit straight up and down but definitely would fit slanted as used presently in your existing truck. There are no wheel wells in the bed of the CT and with the slopes tonneau there is a lot of room in there. A horizontal Molle panel as others have suggested makes more space for gear as well. You could have a really kick-ass modular pack out system in the CT. Convenient and lockable.

Jeff - I just wanted to share that I have a full size 6ft A-frame ladder in my bed that I use for service work. I still have about an inch with the tailgate closed. I'm also able to fully close the tonneau cover keeping everything secure. Check out the pics.

I ordered one this morning. I'll let you know how safe I feel on it. :)
FYI, those Aluminum Telescoping A-Frame Extension Ladders are awesome and a great invention for maximum use and flexibility.
Unfortunately, they aren’t all OSHA compliant outlined in 29 CFR 1910.23 and 29 CFR 1926.1053. They won’t allow them on some of the Union jobsites I work on.

I've looked at many racks from most of the Cybertruck rack manufactures and providers out in the market, this is what works well for me. IMHO, it's not only the best-looking rack on Cybertrucks, but it’s the most flexibility work and play rack I've ever owned, with only 8 10mm bolts that make it quick to remove/reinstall. It was priced right, fitment was dead-on, and I was able to quickly pick it up locally.

Contact Patrick at Urander, they’re awesome and have great support. I'm waiting for them to design / retrofit a rear door to simi-enclose the whole rack. https://urander.com

I also have the Urander rack and really like it.

The 2025 CT has only two openings for crossbars. The mounts are still under there but you have to purchase an $800 set of appliqués for the front two installation points.

Check out Little Giant ladders. I've emailed them to ask if their King Combo, technical grade, meets these OSHA requirements.

Nice one!

Let us know once you've confirmed. However, according to the website, The King Kombo is an OSHA/ANSI compliant. Also, I can’t seem to find the storage height, it gives the storage width 2.08' and depth 7" but doesn’t mention height which is the critical equation needed for fitment in the Cybertruck bed.

If you don't want to buy new applique replacements, I recommend cutting out the two openings with a dremel tool, it's plastic so it'll cut easily. Just tape off the sections, measure twice times and cut once. Also, if you don't want to cut them, eBay has a bunch of them we've seen for $100~$200 per side. If you do go with the replacement route, I suggest purchasing some extra trim clips, once you pull those off the truck, you are guaranteed to lose some clip.
Here's where I purchase the clips when I removed my sail appliques.
