You can do this now. Activate/deactivate/reactivate while driving. With or without a NAV destination. You can even switch to TACC while driving in FSD. BUT, you cannot go back to FSD from TACC while driving.
First time using FSD since update, and believe I noticed "chill" is a little more "hurry up" than it used to be. On familiar route, it took a curving 270 degree freeway off ramp faster, plus accelerated faster when established in the curve. Also accelerated from a stop light faster than before.
I've had my 2025 AWD for almost 6 months. I use my nearby Supercharger for all "fill-ups", I don't have a home charger. I only fill up to 80% (recommended for daily driving). 100% is only recommended for cross-country. That said, I pay approximately $27 to go from 20% to 80% charge and that...
I don't remember the terminology, but there is a setting in FSD for a % allowed above speed limit. 40% is the recommended setting. I presume this is to allow the FSD to "speed" to avoid something bad, but I was on a 45 mph road with no other traffic and my CT steadily accelerated to 52 mph...
You won't regret it! I had no reason to get a 4th vehicle, or a "pickup truck" but it is so much fun and full of tech that it is now my favorite vehicle

Same here. My initial FSD trial was due to expire 3/1/25 based on my delivery of 2/1/25, but when the OTA update finished two days ago, I got a message showing a new expire of 3/31/25. Good on them for recognizing we did not get immediate access to FSD and giving us more time to play with it.
My OTA finally installed yesterday evening/dusk and I went for a quick FSD on the Interstate as soon as it completed. It was my first FSD since taking delivery on 02/01/25. Everything was great except all of a sudden, the wiper blade moved from vertical to horizontal in a single stroke. It was...
The lease was dated 1/31/25 and I had a delivery appt for 4PM, but had to cancel. Actually delivered 2/1/25 at noon, where I signed the papers and took delivery. Afraid too late for any modifications. Am asking Tesla for some Supercharger credits and store credits. We'll see.
I signed my lease 1/31/25 at the higher pricing! Guess there's no recourse to rewrite it even though the prices went down the next day, 2/1/25! Really wish I had not seen this post.
