Tires against police spike strips, the Cybertruck achilles heel! [police chase]

Wonder if the truck owner will put it back on Turo when he gets it back.

FSD v14.2 update rolling out now (including Cybertrucks)

Got mine 11/23. I was in the fsd beta program years ago but didn’t think that carried over to my cybertruck.

Summon feature question for those of you who have other Teslas

I almost never use it in my Y and am very careful when I do. I suspect I would try it in a downpour. I suspect I’ll use it just as much when I get it in my truck.

It's a shame Tesla Service is so bad

Seems pretty good in Oklahoma City. Sorry to hear that your service center sucks.

    Insurance Companies Cancelling CT Policies?

Click bait. One obscure insurance company. None of the main stream companies have dropped them.

    Anyone recognize this guy

It would be funny if you found out who it is and put a note under his pillow saying, “I’m TC, leave your number under my windshield wiper and I’ll give you a call.”

    Adjusting Following Distance

The following distance adjustment is no longer available. I believe it disappeared when they switched to a deep neural network to control the driving. Before that, FSD was hard coded in a version of C, I think C++.

    Another setback for the Cybertruck

Sounds like someone's Cybertruck honeymoon phase ended faster than Epstein's prison stint. I understand that FSD isn't perfect yet, but I straight-up love mine and slap it on every drive. It's the Tesla superpower that keeps me coming back for more. But hey, if you're mourning the lack of...

    Next Cybertruck model

I absolutely love my Cybertruck. That said, if they made a small pickup that looked a lot like every other small truck out there, put some of the under the hood Cybertruck innovation in there, it would very likely be a huge success.

How would you have handled this?

I was gonna say do a pit maneuver, but this is probably a better idea.

2025.26 Update with Grok + Dashcam viewer

I think you may be the one who has a misunderstanding of how Grok, Claude, ChatGPT, and other LLMs are trained. I'm nearly finished with a master's in data science with a specialization in AI from Northwestern University and may overestimate or underestimate the general population's...

My dog escapes with dog mode enabled

That’s hilarious! My dogs open the doors and windows all the time but so far the child locks have prevented them from escaping.

    Regret purchasing FSD

I understand what you’re saying. I think FSD is amazing and I use it every day, but it is a lot of fun to drive the cybertruck I always start out driving manually, then switch to FSD when the drive gets boring. I drove a Ford F150 and it’s not even comparable to the Cybertruck in my opinion.

Are FSD updates giving diminishing returns?

Let's do some calculations and make a few assumptions. Let's say the average distance driven by Cybertruck owners is 12,000 miles per year. Let's also assume that the number of Cybertrucks sold every year is 50,000, which is a significant assumption, but it's being made to estimate the number of...

Are FSD updates giving diminishing returns?

The lack of cybertruck purchases indeed provides less data than what is available on the Model Y. The amount of time the cybertruck has been out also leads to having less data. That said, why would you think Cybertruck FSD is as good as it is going to get when you argue there is not as much...
