Tesla Qouted me just shy of $2,000, this is honestly infuriating and completely unfair, every cybertruck is almost certainly going to need this part.
Anyone have an NHTSA complaints link to join? A class action or any recourse at all?
Thanks
Mongo, thanks to your help I was able to get the commercial tax credit during that whole mess a while back when people with CTs were dealing with that issue, I still feel like I owe you one!
Well here I am again and now I have a PCS failure VIN 41997 and 78k Miles 😞
I've tried to read up...
That's awesome, just waiting on some pictures and changes on the website confirming this, a "trust me bro" unfortunately won't do for me to place the order.
This is getting very close to orderable, but the shipping is all weird, cheaper to ship the entire set by alot then the sails and tailgate cap alone, plus the screw setup for the tailgate cap still needs a better setup, we need round head stainless fastener so nothing gets caught on them when...
Awesome video, side panels are pretty much up to full satisfaction for me, the tailgate cover absolutely needs recessed hardware, as is would not work for me at all.
I don't need the roof trims it's not a wear area. And really hoping we can get sides and tailgate for $1,500 shipped not plus...
Maybe post up everything you answered because how you answer the questions is where the efile will send you in the form automatically, also there needs to be seperate forms for each vehicle im pretty sure.
Look I know you feel like Tesla did something wrong, I get it, I was convinced by my tax guy that was the case too. But in reality they almost certianly didn't do it wrong. Until i realized that and stopped fighting Tesla and instead started looking into what was done wrong at the time of...
The IRS doesn't need Tesla to enter anything at the point of sale for commercial tax credit. So no it should have nothing to do with what was entered at time of purchase. Only thing that matters is Tesla entered the VIN during the time of manufacturing which from what we know they did for all of...
First you need to seperate out which credit for which vehicle is being rejected, all 3 credits? Just the commercial used vehicle? What model and year of vehicle is it?
I imagine very very few Electric vehicles didn't get a 30D credit, since it used to be pretty easy to get, so chances are it's already been claimed for him VIN
That right there is the issue, I'm not clear on the used guidelines but none of us with success were trying to do this for a used car. I don't think used vehicles qualify for the commercial credit, but I could be wrong.
These things are awesome. "No one can do better than OEM" lol what the... the almighty oem apparently haha, I guess that's why thousands of aftermarket companies exist, to do things worse...
These are way better then OEM, so much stronger, not all wavy like the super thin plastic oem ones, plus...
I dont think there should be anything at all in part IV where you have $4,000 since there is something there I think it's like you are applying for a used vehicle tax credit, is this vehicle used?
I haven't gotten as far as how to secure it, it's really not that big of a concern it can only move a few inches each way and the rubber feet are so grippy flooring it does not let slide.
I didn't notice the high level inputs on the back, good to know, makes me wonder if bass rolloff will be a major issue...
Also whats wrong with just tapping the subwoofer cable and leaving the oem in place?
Did you ever figure what's the best device for tapping the sound signal?
Im trying to do a simplified version. I'm just running a pre built JL e110 home subwoofer with the small seat up, for now I just use android dual audio bluetooth output with a bluetooth receiver but it is not in sync and...
Ive been looking for this for months glad someone else is thinking of a snap on cover cap without a aero fairing. The front one is barely noticeable when removed but the back one is ugly!
Most people filing for 2025 will get the point of sale personal tax credit, only the first couple months didn't qualify and only the ones with a commercial truck could run into this.
