Drat, looks like the phantoms are back. Noted when starting FSD in my driveway and erratically at some (but not all) stop signs. Updated to 2026.20.6.11/14.3.6 Thursday.

Try explaining to the cop that pulls you over for going 80 and you get the reckless driving ticket🤪….ideally there would be no speed limits on the interstates outside of cities and only posted LIMITS inside the city limits.

“the speed limits were set knowing that people would drive over them. Maybe not 20 mph over them, but over.” conjecture on your part unless you have a reference I missed. Speed limits are set as limits. Unlike stop signs which are DEFINITELY a command not a suggestion 😁

Just installing the update now, hopefully they will have dialed down the phantom sensitivity.

Are you also seeing a phantom figure on your front left corner? (Mine is intermittently doing it at stop signs and occasionally at slower speeds, all while in fsd and I need to hit the accelerator to over ride it.)

Thanks for input. When I mentioned the problem at the Service Center, we went around and cleaned all of the lenses on the cameras to preclude a dirty lens causing the problem. I am tending to agree that they probably changed the sensitivity parameters a bit to much. Wonder why little...

Yes, it was charging based on the popup I got on my phone. I looked for a way to stop it from charging at times other than that I schedule but could not find any options that did that on the CT screen. I did find the option for ”preconditioning “ and I have nothing scheduled there.

I have my charge time start set in the CT but see no option for NOT charging. I have the original 2014 vintage Tesla wall charger, is this an option on the newer Tesla chargers?

Did you also notice with the last update that anytime you and your phone are near your plugged in CT, it starts charging? I have mine set to start charging @0115 due to rate differences dependent on time. Every time I pass the CT, it starts charging on its own regardless of what time it is.

Which SC in Virginia did you have the work done and did they give you a loaner for the 18 days it was in the shop being repaired?
