Unfortunately it seems there are trucks where people have had the housings cleaned, DAS reset, and cam calibration cleared and still am having issues dry wipes constantly. I'm one of them

Has anyone noticed that this update allows the Cybertruck FSD visualization to zoom out when approaching intersections and zooms back in afterwards? The rest of the fleet has had this feature forever. Maybe this was added in anticipation of the summer update that allows you to set default FSD zoom levels. A welcome feature nonetheless.

Two very noticeable changes with this release:

1) Speed under "standard" setting is much less aggressive. It'll only go about three miles over posted speed limit and with an accelerator nudge it'll speed up and hold, but only for about 15 seconds before settling back into three miles above.
2) The truck wants to be in the right lane much more than before. It has gone so far into the right lane, it is getting caught up in merging traffic congestion vs. driving around it in the far left lane. Sadly, for me, this is causing far more interventions because I don't want to sit in congestion when there is a clear path around it.

None at all - The camera view is clear/clean(when looking at camera preview)
At this point I'm close to putting in a service request but I'm sure they are just going to say its FSD.

Everyone wants something different so I can't tell anymore! The only thing that is certain is there will be unhappy people no matter how it drives! I don't think it's realistic for it to hold strictly to the speed limit everywhere because the speed limits were set knowing that people would drive over them. Maybe not 20 mph over them, but over.

YES, this! I've grown very tired of FSD behavior discussions because people can't differentiate between actual legit concerns and their own driving preferences and eccentricities.

I can't remember which member it was, but awhile back one of us was complaining about how cybertruck accelerates through turns, especially at intersections. He was disengaging at every intersection so he could coast through the turn because it's more comfortable for him. Like, accelerating through the turn is literally what they teach in driver's ed, driving classes, race schools, everywhere. Accelerating through the turn is what keeps all the weight (including you), and especially the suspension, in balance. It gives the most grip by distributing the weight over all the tire contact patches. And it's just the intuitive normal thing to do. Imagine following someone that jumps at the green light and then coasts through a turn. But this member won't be happy with FSD until it behaves in this one bizarre way that only they would want.

What I meant was that once it hits a speed, it will let go of accelerator and one can feel regen brakes till it reaches Lower speed. Before, it was more subtle.

yes I noticed this morning dropping my kids off to school. I actually didn’t realize I missed this until I saw it again after 2 years when I traded in my MYP for my FS! Lol

For decades, the dominant method for setting many speed limits in the United States has been the “85th percentile rule,” which by design expects that a portion of drivers (about 15%) will regularly exceed the posted limit under free-flow conditions.

As for enforcement, police can legally ticket anyone going over the speed limit by an amount that exceeds the error of their speed measuring device but they tend to not do that, only enforcing speeding when it becomes objectionable (in most cases). And "objectionable is a fuzzy line, different in different jurisdictions and different for different officers.

If FSD always adhered rigidly to every speed limit, even those set unreasonably low, other drivers would become frustrated which would naturally lead to more accidents, not less. FSD will not drive faster than it judges is safe, but it will also not adhere rigidly to every speed limit (sometimes it will drive below the speed limit if it thinks the speed limit is too high for conditions). The bottom line is that FSD attempts to drive much like a reasonable person would. Studies show that changing the speed limit on a section of road has a limited effect on the actual speed people actually drive and FSD behaves very much like this. Is it strictly legal to exceed the speed limit by a small amount? Of course not. Is it reasonable? In many cases, I think so.

This is why Tesla gives us speed profiles, so each individual can balance their risk of getting cited for a speeding ticket vs. frustrating other drivers, in a manner that suits their personal risk profile.
